Covid-19 deaths top 401,000 in Brazil as daily death tolls remain in the thousands
The country's health ministry reported more than 3,000 new Covid-19 deaths Thursday, raising the total number of deaths recorded during the pandemic to 401,186.
The South American country's death toll rapidly increased after the Christmas and New Year holidays – when people often travel during school and company summer breaks – turning 2021 into the most severe period in Brazil’s outbreak since the novel coronavirus reached the country in March 2020.
* Like India, Brazil's rising daily death toll is dangerously approaching donald trump's lasting legacy

It is not looking good for citizens who have had shots from Moderna. Moderna says to get ready for more booster shots in the fall to save you from mutated variants of the corona virus!. The PTB will ensure the medical tyranny never ends!

variants r crushing them
Well that's the thing. A lot of Americans like to think the crisi is over now that President Biden has accelerated the rollout of 3 vaccines with 2 more coming soon, and they are relaxing mitigation efforts against expert warnings. But the variants are wrecking havoc in Europe now too as well as Brazil and India and I'm not so sure we can avoid yet another surge.

It's like the flu, right? Much like the flu, some people will need yearly shots. Some won't need them at all.

US businesses warn crumbling infrastructure is hurting the economy
Nearly two-thirds (63%) of middle market executives say the nation's ailing infrastructure is restricting growth of the national economy, according to a new RSM survey shared exclusively with CNN Business. The survey, conducted in partnership with the US Chamber of Commerce, also found that 60% of these executives say the state of infrastructure is hurting local economies as well.
NOTE: Senate REPUBLICANS are on public record stating they *WILL* oppose (vote down) any and all Biden admin bills regardless what they are or regardless how much the bill may benefit Americans. It's all just GOP politics to regain power in 2022.

Unfortunately for Americans, this is true.
Of course, the adolf-trump lovers will blame THEIR unwillingness to help Americans on the Democrats.

In Arkansas, which has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the nation, cases are surging, state officials said. "We are now going in the wrong direction yet again with Covid-19 infections here in the state of Arkansas," said Dr. Cam Patterson, chancellor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
"With July 4th holiday and eventually kids going back to school, we have to be concerned that this would be a trend that could continue. And if it does, it would appear that we may be in the beginning of the third surge of Covid-19 here in the state of Arkansas,"
The republican state saw 988 Covid-19 deaths since late January, and 99.6% of those deaths were people who were not vaccinated, Hutchinson added. In the same time period, more than 98% of those hospitalized with Covid-19 were not vaccinated.
Arkansas has fully vaccinated only 34.3% of its total population.

COVID-19 cases were up in nearly half of U.S. states, a USA TODAY Network analysis of Johns Hopkins University data shows.
In Missouri, the number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients jumped by nearly 30% over the Fourth of July weekend in a hard-hit area where immunization rates are low, leading to a temporary ventilator shortage and a public call for help from respiratory therapists.
The delta variant, first identified in India, is spreading rapidly throughout the state, straining hospitals in Springfield and raising fresh fears that the situation could soon grow worse as holiday gatherings seed fresh cases.
"It feels very reminiscent of where we were in an early part of the pandemic," State Epidemiologist Paul Byers said during a June 29 press conference. "It feels like we're in the same situation now with the delta variant."

Seven Republican-run states have banned public schools from requiring a Covid-19 trump-vaccine -- even though entry to educational systems typically requires kids to have their regular round of shots for infectious diseases, like measles or mumps.

Vaccines have been available to most Americans for months, but still only 48.2% of the country is fully vaccinated, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Meanwhile, case rates have been going up dramatically. In 47 states, the rate of new cases in the past week are at least 10% higher than the previous week, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. Of those 47 states, 35 have seen increases of over 50%!
