I am assuming you are betting LIVE. Which means you probably can wait on a bet sometimes. In the case of what we just watched the O/U Total for the 4Q Went all the way from 52.5 starting to 60.5 and then went all the way back down again to I think as low as 52.5 again. Or 53.5. One or the other. So it would have been idea for us to catch it at 60.5 and then once it went back down to 53.5 again bet the OVER. As the game was getting close again, We would have middled on the bet and hit both, and if we would have lost one we would only have lost our juice. Double betting a spread and getting some points is the best way to a bet IMO. You won't win them all, but double winning eliminates a hard loss. You just have to get it at the right time.

yea but sometimes the bet on a double bet can still result in a loss happened yesterday in one of the games i posted they move the o/u to like 2.5 to 3.5 and then when they pull out the close bets its happened unless it a complete turnaround but we should took that

before the halftime but who would of seen the knicks talking that lead but i lost by 2 points all of those 3 in the begining of the 4th was unreal no one seen that both team couldnt miss

It was interesting watching that game seeing the Knicks slow their pace down to a comfortable level once they got close to taking the lead against the Kings. They were forced to play at the Kings pace for most of the game which accounts for their low percentage shooting. Then they got close, were able to move the ball around a lot better and hit high percentage shots which is their efficiency. If they didn't have that run at the end of the 3rd quarter, that probably would have shot really bad in the 4Q chasing a bigger lead.

Great thread btw. Glad you started posting. We need a better community view on this live betting. Half the people on this forum will post dumb garbage halfway through the game about people before game bets, when they should be analyzing the game and posting about trends. Or keep an update of what they are watching. Could you imagine if we had a different person or two analyzing each game and giving positive feedback.

Endof3rdJeff has been nice enough to participate in the thread and I am working on getting a few other talented analysts to participate.

However, if I add you to this chat, PLEASE be aware that we will not tolerate any negativity. I have worked countless hours myself over this past month collecting and analyzing data and creating spreadsheets that analyze trends and focus on LIVE action and moving odds.
Endof3rdJeff has been in the game a lot longer than me and wants to give back as well. He really knows his stuff.
This could turn into something really great over time. As LIVE betting can be tricky, realize that during game time from 7-12PM EST we will be watching games LIVE and and trying to understand game flow, so we can make the most educated plays in the 4Q that return the greatest results.
If you have questions, try to avoid them until either after the games, or before the games, so we don't clog up the chat. Once a pick has been posted you tail at your own risk. If we lose the bet and you tail, its not on us to get your money back. Although I am confident we will have a lot more winners than losers.
