I'm getting closer to my home ... I'm your Captain
Week 15 is upon us, and Covid cases are on the rise.
KC @ LAC +3 (52)
Chargers stud rookie LT Slater hit the covid list yesterday. Chiefs are in peak mode right now, but doubtful they maintain their current level of play through the SB. Chargers won the 1st match 30-24, but that was before the Chiefs rounded into form. KC has played 8 of their 13 games at home thus far, having played 5 of their last 6 at home. That's some nice scheduling, and has coincided with their resurgence. If LAC win this game they go into 1st place in the West, and have Hou, Den and LV left on their schedule.
LV @ Cle -3 (40)
Raiders in the midst of their annual collapse. In the last 7 weeks LV has won 1 game. In the last 7 weeks NE has lost 1 game. Both to the Cowboys. Brownies hit hard by the China flu. Will be interesting to see how many players actually miss this game.
NE @ Indy -2.5 (45.5)
Prime time Sat night tilt featuring 2 of the NFL's hottest teams. This will be a great game. Unfortunately for Hugh, it will not be seen as I will be in a Ayahuasca induced trip by kickoff. Someone please take some notes on this one.
WFT @ Philly -5 (44)
WFT best remaining D-lineman Jonathan Allen was put on the covid list. This team will be dressing bigred and his daughter to play D-line this week. Philly is an interesting team. Need to look further into the series history of these 2, but my initial lean is on the Eagles. Hurts will start for Philly
Car @ Buff -10.5 (43.5)
As I have said repeatedly for weeks, the Bills are the bullies of the NFL, beating up on weak teams. Buffalo, let me introduce you to Cam and the Carolina Newtons. Let the bitch slapping begin
NYJ @ Mia -8.5 (42)
As bad as the Jets are, not sure the Phins should be this large chalk against anyone outside of Hou, Jax, or Balt.

Dak has issues. Glennon will have issues for 60 mins on Sunday. Cyrax should probably not bet this game.
Tenn @ Pitt +1.5 (41.5)
This line seems a little short. Steelers chances of making the playoffs are very minimal. 4 games left and they are already in the "need other teams to lose a couple games each" mode. Tenn will cruise to the playoffs and pray for the return of the King.
Hou @ Jax -3.5 (39.5)
This line is begging for Hou money. Buyer beware. Urban finding new ways each week to get fired. Texans have no talent and shitty coaching. What a complete shit show this game is. Getty will make it his GOY.
Ari @ Det +13.5 (47.5)
Lions were due for a clunker after their week long celebration from winning a game. They get back to business this week and play the deflated Cards tough. Did Ari peak early???
Atl @ SF -9 (45.5)
If Jimmy G plays half way decent, no team will want to play the 49ers in the playoffs. If Atl somehow wins this game they will probably make the payoffs. Amazing!
Cin @ Den -1.5 (43.5)
Two 7-6 teams fighting for their playoff lives. Bengals have the better QB by far. In Burrow we trust
GB @ Shrimp +5.5 (43.5)
Pulled this line from a site, my books don't have it listed yet. Shrimp getting 5.5 at home? My oh my how the once mighty have fallen. Rodgers said he reinjured his toe on SNF, plus they lost yet another O-lineman. Good thing bigred isn't a Packers fan, he would not be able to handle all the injuries this team has endured. Real injuries. Meaningful injuries. Prop on this game: Rodgers Passing Yards 423. Bet the Over.
Sea @ Rams -5.5 (46.5)
Talk about a let down spot for LA. Expect most to ride the Ram momentum train. Russ looked better last week.
NO @ TB -10.5 (46.5)
Everyone will be all over the revenge factor. Saints have the defense to keep TB under 30. TB has the secondary to get Saints up to 21
Minn @ Chi +3.5 (44.5)
Another prime time game for Da Bears ... wonder who Sac had to blow to get this accomplished. Vikes hope for the playoffs are realistically done. Mathematically, if they win out they get in. They should enjoy their 2 remaining games with the Bears, because they sandwich games against GB and the Rams

Other than the injury related Browns move from -6.5 to -3, the only other eye opener are the Rams from -7 down to -4.5 vs. Seattle. I have a weird feeling the Seahawks think they can make the playoffs and will play with that attitude.
Jags owner Shad Khan was kind enough to hold a press conference for the local media on his 300' yacht. He was fairly clear that a coaching change if any, won't happen during this season. But the media doesn't care. They just want more boat drinks.

Dvoa has both these teams ranked exactly the same, to the decimal, -30.3% each.
How much HFA can the Jags have? 1pt maybe? Getty might be the only fan in the stands.
Sagarin's "recent" ratings have Houston #30, Jags #32 and better by 0.84 pts.
The total is 39.5, wtf it's not like the 85 Bears vs the Steel Curtain. I'm assuming good weather here.
I listened to Lombardi's podcast today. He said that a reliable source told him that the turmoil in Jacksonville's coaches room is far worse than being reported.
Urban is not getting fired this week, if he did it would of all ready happened. It's Tuesday. This organization is the ultimate dumpster fire.
So who da fuck keeps betting on this team, and why? They were -3(-105) on the look ahead. I saw -3(-127) at betonline, -3.5 bovada, and -4(-105) on DK.
Chasers from week 14? Martingale sharps?

I think that I'd actually blow someone to keep the Bears OFF of primetime. They are awful.
If you guy's remember me bitching about the AFC North on last weeks thread...here's a small excerpt from FO's.
The Patriots, Chiefs, and Indianapolis Colts are all significantly better in weighted DVOA than in total DVOA. There are other teams going in the other direction, primarily teams in the AFC North. All four teams in the AFC North are higher in total DVOA than in weighted DVOA, and three of the five biggest gaps belong to AFC North teams:"
I put that future in on the Bengals because Burrow is the best QB, and they have the best D, and some other stuff I mentioned. But they can't seem to get out of their own way every Sunday. Browns suck, Pittsburgh sucks, Shrimp are a disaster. No one wants to win that damn division.

A 2 event parlay. Draymond Green over 22.5 points, rebounds, and assists. With Curry going for the 3 point record, Green should benefit in all 3 areas. I coupled it with Oregon State -6. Oregon State has 1 win this season. Their strength of schedule was brutal, though. A good night to gain back poise.
Keep at it.

@Getty3 The Giants have very few quality players..... The Titans have 1 great player MIA King Henry..... The Ravens missing their 2 headed monster Dobbins/Edwards was huge..
I thought Shrimp1958 and Biscuiteater was their 2 headed monster.
Keep at it.

You are the only person in the PB who doesn't realize that you would be well served by ignoring me. It's not as if any of our interactions go well for you.
Any reminders regarding injuries for the Shrimp? It's been at least 15 mins

And he's still at it. When will it ever fucking end? 1958, you should be brushing up on the upcoming baseball season because your 2021/22 football experience is OVER.
IMO it would be best for the Newsletter if they both (Hugh & Red) STFU about it Broken record really ruining a great weekly thread
