Those stats are on PFF, which I'm not a subscriber. Someone on Twitter had posted the #'s, and now I can't find it.
As for "buy low sell high" ... As I've mentioned before, there is no method or theory which is 100%, nor 65% for that matter. The problem with the 'going against the grain' picks is that when they lose, those losses stick with a gambler much longer because that gambler gets into the emotional mindset of 'WTF was I thinking?!?!?!'. Those memories tend to make gamblers leery of feeling that emotional pain again. Whereas losing a game which is picked on stats alone (i.e. betting favorites) does not come with emotional pain because the gambler can tell himself 'well, I was on the right side, it was just bad luck' (similar to bigred with the Shrimp)
I've been high on NE and Mac Jones since before week 1, and I'm not sold on Tenn being a team who can go to the SB, but I will also default to the 'buy low sell high' theory. It makes money over the course of time. Recency bias is a gamblers worst enemy, I try to be on the other side of it
