#2) North Carolina +2 over the inconsistant Pittsberg squad.. And here's why..DEFENSE, DEFENSE, DEFENSE,  AND MORE NORTH CAROLINA DEFENSE... They are wicked tough and as a Chicago Bear fan I know that Wanstadts a guttless POS who can't make adjustments

#3) USC -7 over Boston College..Because they are USC. Tan active California blue chippers vs a bunch of slow white lumbering north eastern catholics with names like McCarthy and Kennedy...And BC is traveling cross country, good luck there fatheads..

 

Marshall +3

North Carolina +2

USC -7

 

Play em straight up, parlay them, do whatever you want with them, but don't say I did'nt tell you so..

   T, can't figure it out. It's like God has got you on T.V. in heaven and he's sitting around with all the Saints and Angels going, "watch this, I'm gonna trip this guy at the 5yd line and 3T is gonna drop another one even though he shoulda been right),and then they all laugh and high five and say do it again God. But don't worry he will stop soon cause he's not a mean guy, he just likes to yuk it up during bowl season. Looks like he's gonna let you off the hook starting tomorrow.   Nice pix,as always     Good Luck

Not trying to be funny, I'm really not, but I truky am ont he opposite on all 3.  There's no way you could go 0-3 in one day, is there?


Ohio played 6 bowl teams and went 4-2 against them, winning last 4.  Marshall played 7 bowl teams, going 2-5, although a couple were close, and backed their way into this game, losing 3 out of floor.

As for Wannstedt, he wasn't a good NFL coach, but what he's learned to do in college, is adjust.

And USC, I can see them feeling the same way Ore St did, not being into this Bowl game after playing in so many BCS bowls in a row.  And didnt they lose some players to suspension?  Including maybe McKnight.

Again, not bashing, but I have reasons for going the other way

Hey 3t.....See you got a "full house" at Christmas....That's great, a big family....Now, I've noticed a propensity of yours,and that is taking the fav.......However, understand that I've just started following you at the start of the bowls....The 'doggies' have been barking real loud, and from past experience, that is going to change, if only a bit...So tom. you start out with two doggies....Marshall is getting rid of their coach....In games where the head coach IS NOT THERE FOR THE BOWL GAME, AND OVER THE YEARS THE TEAM DOESN'T COVER OR LOSES OUTRIGHT IF A FAV., AT A HIGH ENOUGH PERCENTAGE TO MAKE LOTS OF CASH....Will check if he's there....Pitt had a GREAT YEAR winning 9 games, and  losing their final two by a total of four points, and losing to Cincy by only one(other loss at N.C.ST. after being ahead by 17)....First chance to win 10 games in a season in about 20 years....Money is AGAINST THEM....Finally, USC had a pathetic season giving up tons of points....I don't know how they could have any motivation for this game and the line is going up on them....I don't wager by analysis and was just throwing out some info for  you and others....That is why I'm here and following your picks....YOU'RE DUE TO "BUST SOME BALLS!"....Finally, I don't know why everyone here uses the term"FADE!"....When I booked, I called them "REVERSE SWAMIS!"...Happy holidays and best of luck!

What many of you touch football weekend warrior, armchair quarterbacks fail to understand is that all these players are playing for something..Everybody on USC thinks they have a chance to play on Sundays and they know all the scouts are watching these games. A good showing can get you on the draft board. Take it from a guy that played 6 years, and coached 7 winning two Carnation bowls- the game may not mean much to the school or the boosters but it's a big deal to all the players #1, and #2 Marshall played a lot of good teams out of conference and held their own with all of them, and #3 Pittsberg is a dumb team, they're dumb. Those kids are all decendants of Steel Miners- They play hard but the make dumb mistakes.

One more thing guys before I go cut the Turkey...I watched a lot of ball games this year and I only got goose pimples from two squads..Cincy's Offense, and North Carolinas defense...That dumb blue collar Pittsberg running attack has no idea about the North Carolina buzzsaw they are about to stumble face first into...No idea whatsoever. If you like Props take the Pittsberg backs UNDER, no matter what the number is.

Hey 3t....."ALL" that you have just written is quite true..In fact---"RIGHT ON!"..I live in Western Pa. and you're right again, many descendants of  coal miners and the steel industry, two of the biggest industries....Again, please understand that I was "throwing out info." to you and all others....Your insight is appreciated....Don't forget that....In giving this info., I was hoping that it 'might' help you in disseminating it as to handicapping the game....Never knew you won two Carnation Bowls....Nice going!....Let's get on a roll man!!!!

I do agree with ODZ that stereotyping the players of Pitt's team as "dumb" is more than an insult.  How could ALL of their players be descendants of , as you say, Steel Miners, when the members of the team come from all over the country?...I did mention previously that there are plenty of descendants that live in Western Pa. of the Steel and Coal industry, but NOT the team....Pitt's 2 defensive ends are jr's and may go pro.......By the way, I did check, and Marshall will NOT have their head coach as he was fired....First assistant will coach....You are going against an over 75-80 percent figure of teams playing without their head coach there in taking Marshall.....And I do believe that Marshall got their nuts handed to them by U.T.E.P.(Real powerhouse!) at the end of the season....Being that said, I have been betting for 40 years, AND CANNOT GO AGAINST YOU.   The reasons I have given above are all valid and lean to taking the first two games OPPOSITE of you, BUT I CAN'T AND WON'T....In gambling, when the "valid seems real valuable and obvious," YOU LOSE YOUR ASS....THAT I'VE LEARNED THE "HARD WAY!"....And on the ESPN poll, 90 percent of the public like Ohio,  and betting against that 90 percent figure over the years has produced an 80 percent winning advantage....By the way, PITT IS 86!!.....I'm still going to ride ya bud till  you prove me otherwise!

3T you are priceless,you make me crack up everytime i read this post...and for all of you calling him stupid,idiot.....the man knows what hes doing and having fun with it......keep up the great work 3t........i just want to understand one thing though....am i to play these games like ive been playing all your others starting from when i jumped on with utah???i guess my question is.....are these picks you posted like the nevada game and the utah game.....do i keep playing them the way we havebeen???

                           Sorry about that, musta had 1 to many budweisers, been a long Christmas....just put down an old Archie comic book, I'm not sh tting ya 3 your avatar looks like Moose,(Midges boyfriend) , coincidence,,,,I think not. Anyway, smoked yesterday great call NFL. Also congrats on the Carnation Bowls, was that back to back. Awesome either way, but not real famliar with that particular bowl.
