I went based off value.
Oilers can win fairly easily or lose a close one again. More times than not they will show up in this spot. NJD I don't know how good they can be. They might be a top team or have some issues. But they play hard for the coach.
Rangers are not scoring but the D and goaltending is strong. Hate going against Habs however NYR at those odds is worth it to me. NYR can keep it close and win late or finally break out on offense. I thought Habs would be low-key good this year but everyone seems to be on them now.
Toronto played a pretty good game vs. Rangers. They might be heating up. Seattle has played in 3 straight overtimes/SO games. To me Seattle needs to be tighter on defense to stop a team like Toronto from getting in with good looks. But this is also a spot where Toronto will crap on us all by not showing up. The team has done it for years.
I haven't picked anything on the early games yet. Florida reg might be asking too much and the ML is up too high. Florida is banged up however this is a team they can break out on and they still have enough players on that team to win games. They have lost 3 in a row. Sabres are giving up too many shots for a team like Florida to not score. Or maybe this is a huge early hangover for Florida and they heat up as the season goes on... Might be best to stay away. I leaned the Over there. Very poor with totals though.
For Ottawa game. Sens are showing much more so far. NYI looked bad for a while now . I feel like Sens are the right team though they are down theor best player. I think NYI is too banged up and not to be trusted going back to last season and they possibly didn't do much to correct anything. Senators or no play for me. Senators if you've watched them for the past 3 seasons they always play hard on weekends and generally they are seldom out of their games like NJD.
