try to imagine if Cooke played for the senators and sliced Crosby's achilles and then high sticked him in the face tonight. The guy would have gotten suspended 25 games for the achilles slice, then a game misconduct for the high stick tonight

Cooke gets a bad rap...He is a gritty player but does not play dirty like he used to.  He made a dumb play trying to reach too high to knock down a puck...It happens all the time that boneheaded play across the NHL.  If you want to pick on a player, start with Chris Neil..
