Did anyone watch the overtime of hurricanes /devils last night… I came away from that very impressed with Carolina… don’t watch much hockey… but that impressed me… reminded me of the fast avalanche teams. Does Carolina have a chance to win it all.

With the softness of modern hockey it does give a group of faeries like them an outside chance, but still as things move on and they get pressed by a team that leans on them they fold every playoff season like a worn in lawn chair. Even in today’s cupcake era they’re still too soft to be considered a valid threat.

Hey man, I’d just love to be able to watch my team play in a playoff game so sitting over here in my glass house lol, but yeah I do think the canes are too soft for the entire journey. What puzzles me is they never seem to address the issue and just keep collecting the same types of players.

Trust me - I know. All good. No one likes hearing the truth, but it needs to be said. From a Financial perspective, I really hope Canes win Game 1 and even Game 2, so I can get a good price on the Crapitals for the series. And if I lose my Craps wagers, oh well, we'll get our ass kicked by FLA again, and I can bet my Mortgage on Cats.

Gotcha… they do seem to have excellent regular seasons… then go out quickly…. I can say that overtime vs New Jersey was impressive… now Jersey may not be very good… I’ll say canes beat capitols.
