Is their anyone other than myself that think this line looks real fishy? It's like the bookies are daring you to back Vegas in this spot. I know Carolina is good at home, but they certainly did not look like a powerhouse against Vegas in game 1. Carolina's goaltending is suspect at best, their power play looks pretty ordinary, and they look to have a real challenge on their hands. Vegas has now won 3 in a row vs Carolina going back to the regular season. Carolina has the most pressure on them heading into tonight's matchup as they cannot afford to spot Vegas 2 wins on the road. If that happens, Carolina is in big trouble. Looks like the bookmakers are siding with Carolina and expect a top effort, I'm just not certain Carolina has the physical attributes on defense to slow Vegas down (Vegas is clearly targeting Chatfield on defense) and contain the 3rd and 4th lines in front of the net. Not so sure Carolina deserves the -170 line here, and I'm leaning on taking a shot on the ML with Vegas at +140. This line seems too good to be true..Vegas certainly has a decent shot at winning tonight if Andersen continues to give up goals when his vision is obstructed by traffic in front of the net. Thoughts? I know they don't build glass towers on the strip because casinos give away free money, but...
