l find it amusing that hookem takes the time to come into KS thread and tell him he has no idea what he is talking about. Hawks are playing 500 hockey for almost the last 2 months. Good value on a team that has a decent home record. Best of luck KS.

Scorpio- you totally dismissed the b2b stats post by peelnpub or whatever yet again. He's dead on, you have to pick your spots.. And while i respect your angle, not factoring in the b2b stats is a mistake on your part. The hawks have proven a force to be reckoned with after loses this season, and your main argument is their overall slumping record in December?? Terrible over-simplification on your part. It seems like you're out to just prove a point after being called out the other day.

GL with all your other plays besides this one. I think you have this one wrong.

I think Wings & Conajo are still pounding their chests after that Wings win yesterday lol. It's all good boys it was just one win. See you in the playoffs...

You guys don't get it.Those stats mean nothing today. Anyways, most of those stats were made when the team was playing well earlier in the season.

YOU MUST REMEMBER - these games are being played to make the casino money,not to entertain the fans.All sports are played to make money for everyone involved except the fans.The fans are only there to pay the bills.That's why people think games are fixed,when in reality they've been just marketed to make the casino money.

Hate to break it to ya bud but you're wrong again. Those 2nd game winners of a B2B after a loss have all happened in the last 2 months. This stat alone tells a lot about a team's perseverance. This is what the best of the best teams do, regardless of a 12-12 streak over the middle part of the season.

Whether the Blackhawks Win or Lose tonight is one thing, but you need to understand the case you're making isn't Black & White, Yes/No. There are dozens upon dozens of angles to look at and the one's you keep clinging to really don't hold much water in the grand scheme of things.

Also - using the word overrated for a defending stanley cup winner, a top 3 team on 5on5 F/A and a top 5 power play is a little ridiculous.

If we want to really analyze the Blackhawk's faults this year, you could say they've had trouble holding onto leads, especially on the road and struggle mightily on the PK, (27th).

Also, out of their last 12 losses, only 1 game did they lose by more than 1 goal.

Spots and who comes to play is important STATs will get you so far. But you still need to show up to back those stats. Its half way into the season Olympics around the corner blah blah blah its about bringing energy night after night some teams need a break to get focused again. In hockey if you take a night off you will lose.
