Overrated vs. Underrated

Thursday we'll see a Stanley Cup Champion run into a BUZZSAW.Injuries and a slow start by the Wild this year has left them under the radar.Well,on Thursday you'll see one of the best home teams in NHL.Even with the backup to the backup goalie going for the Wild,there's nothing to fear.The Stanley Cup Champion Blackhawks are struggling,just like every team does during a season.This is when you take advantage in gambling.The Wild are playing solid hockey with great defense.Defense is what is needed to stop Champions that love to score goals.This is a simple case of two teams that are going in different directions right now.These are the spots you look for when gambling.

backstrom is questionable.. tough call 
i'm also leaning minnesota. as chicago just battled it out in Detroit and lost in shootout... 
minnesota will be solid tomorrow at home. but tough cal!

Home game minesota mite hold it down but iffy about hawks losing 2 in a row.

Don't see it happening. Go back and look at MIN shots on goal lately.

Vs NSH -23
Vs OTT -27 (3 in the first period) 
Vs EDM -33 (worst team in the leauge)
Vs DAL -19
Vs DAL -18
Somehow they managed to win 3/5 of these. But against a team like Chicago I don't seem them battling hard enough for chances.  And I don't say that because so many people back Chicago at crazy juice. I say it because they are going on a 5 game loseing streak.(DAL/CHI/SJ/ANA/COL)

I don't think the line really begs you to take the Hawks. They've been inconsistent and the wild are pretty good at home.

Taking the over. Last 3 games have had 21 goals scored (all overs) and it's set at 5.

Hawks just beat Boston #2 team in the East and the Ducks #1 team in the West and had a tough game in Detroit against their biggest rival who no matter what always plays them tough. So to say they are overrated shoes you have no idea what you are talking about.

Cant back Mini with Kuemper in net....will look closely if the line doesnt move may be worth a shot.

Since Dec 1st the Blackhawks are 12-12 going 3-6 on the road.

I understand you being naive to gambling,but come on kid.

Since his GAA in under 2 in his last 5 games played,don't really know how much better you want.

Forget their 12-12 record since December. It's all about picking your spots as you say. And in this spot, the Hawks will be fired up after a tough loss last night. 

Don't understand how we can use the 12-12 since December angle but completely ignore the Hawk's trend on b2b's and a b2b after a loss like stated above. On top of that, this is a revenge situation for the Hawks as they lost the last meeting in MIN 4-3 on 12/5/13 where they were -135 favorites.

Wild have no Mikko Koivu still or Parise. Turtling all game against a team like the Blackhawks sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Correction, Parise IS returning tonight but still no Koivu. Without him it will be tough to contain the Hawks top line I think.

Every team has some teams that they struggle with and maybe hawks struggles with red wings sometimes. Doesn't mean they are over-rated. And who said farm teams can't win games lol

The 12-12 record explains the overrated claim.He's acting like their 20-4.To the claim i'm ignoring the b2b stats,i am.If all we had to do was follow those stats we'd be hitting at around 100%.Stats mean nothing when the puck drops.There's too much whining in this forum wondering why they lost when they were thinking the stats was the key to winning.

It's funny to me how when a favour team lose a game ppl say they suck and fade them the next game. That's what happen with my penguins and they show some a$$ whoopin' ytd against Habs 5-1 in ur face!! Teams can bounce back right away so don't speak too soon
