The Jets won the Presidents’ Trophy for compiling the best overall regular-season record in the NHL last season, but this year has been a struggle. The Jets have finally come on strong since the Olympic break, going 12-5-4, and each night is now borderline "must-win" territory. The Blues desperately need this game as well, and the loser of this contest will watch its playoff hopes dip into low single-digits as far as probability goes. St. Louis has lost three of its last five games and ranks 29th in scoring. Winnipeg is 4-1 in its last five games, allowing two goals or fewer in three of those games. The Jets have held their last eight opponents to an average of 2.1 goals a game and have moved into the top 10 defensively. They hold a strong goalie edge here with Connor Hellebuyck. Winnipeg has won two of the three meetings this season against the Blues. The Jets have held St. Louis to four goals in those three games.

Minnesota has won four in a row, tallying 19 goals. The offense is 11th in goals per game (3.29) and fourth on the power play. It's contributed to a 26-12-2 OVER run for the Wild as they head into Texas. Dallas is 10th in goals scored (3.29 per game), plus second on the power play and in shooting percentage. These teams have met three times this season, with Minny holding a 2-1 edge. Two of the three games went OVER, with seven goals scored in each, and this total is too low. Each team has four games remaining, and Dallas owns a two-point advantage in the Central standings. Home ice for an opening round series is at stake, and I'm expecting this one to open up.

Colorado clinched the top seed in the Western Conference on Tuesday, defeating St. Louis 3-1, and so the Avalanche could suffer a slight letdown in tonight's matchup with Calgary, especially if they partied a little too hard. Colorado has lost six of its past seven home games and has scored just seven goals in three games. Calgary defeated Anaheim 5-3 on Saturday before losing 4-3 in overtime at Dallas. Mackenzie Blackwood has lost his past three starts for the Avalanche while allowing 12 goals on 68 shots, including an 8-6 loss to lowly Vancouver. Blackwood is the likely starter tonight, and he is 9-7-0 at home this season.

Utah can take a major step toward clinching a playoff spot as it goes for its fifth win in a row after beating Edmonton 6-5 in overtime on Tuesday night, when Clayton Keller scored the game-winner on a power play. The Mammoth have gone OVER seven in a row, and they have scored 25 goals in four games. Nashville is playing its sixth straight road game in a 12-day span, winning three of them, including 5-0 over Anaheim two nights ago. Juuse Saros is 1-1-1 with a 3.33 goals-against average and an .881 save percentage in three starts against Utah in 2025-26. Karel Vejmelka has won his last four starts for the Mammoth, who have won five of six against Western Conference opponents. Four of the past five meetings have gone OVER.

Las Vegas is averaging 4.2 goals a game since replacing coach Bruce Cassidy with John Tortorella four games ago. Now the Golden Knights get to face Seattle, whose defense has fallen apart. The Kraken are surrendering an average of 4.4 goals a game during their last 11 games. Seattle has allowed at least three goals in each of these past 11 games. The Kraken have the second-worst penalty kill unit in the NHL. Seattle has tried to compensate for its defensive deficiencies by opening up its offense. The Kraken nearly scored a third goal against the Wild - the fourth-ranked defensive team - in their last game two days ago, but the goal was overturned on a challenge for goaltender interference. The Kraken is dropping down in defensive class after facing the Wild and Jets in their last two games. Seattle should be confident against the Golden Knights, having gone 2-0 against them this season.

San Jose just lost two of three (all at home) and scored eight goals. The offense has slipped to 18th in goals per game (3.04) and 15th on the power play. San Jose is a young, electrifying team that may have overachieved this season. In recent losses, they've looked gassed and haven't generated the high-quality scoring chances this team used to spark highlight reels earlier this season. The Sharks are now on a 19-12-1 run UNDER the total, and their lack of depth is showing. Anaheim has lost six in a row, netting just 14 goals. An upper-body injury to leading scorer Cutter Gauthier has not helped, as he has been out of the lineup since March 30. The offense ranks 25th on the power play and 24th in shooting percentage. We're getting a good price on this total based on midseason performance.

By decent. Do you know if he usually wins. This guy says NHL is the guy's best sport?
I told someone another guys send them to me. He gets three of four different ones from folks. But said he wanted those if I could post because he was good.
The last week or so I think he is maybe about even?
