Why is Minny up to +6??

Let me ask you this fellas -- Pittsburgh's offensive line has struggled pretty much all year. Minnesota is widely regarded as having the best front 4 in the league. Everyone knows Big Ben is great at moving in the pocket and pump faking defenders out of their shoes, but with the ability of the Vikes to get pressure on Ben with just their front four, I see them as having a significant edge in the trenches on both sides of the ball. When that happens and the team with the edge is catching points, how can you not like it?

This guy is as square as Bibendi. Maybe you should research the Vikings secondary.

not touching this one because of the strange line's movement but of those 7 games, I don't think the Vikings ever had a QB capable of throwing the ball.

You may be right about Pitts going to win but your argument is weak. Because those are the same team Pitts beat and SD.all losing teams. Pitts is 1-5 ATS (mean that they re overvalue)Their Defense is horrible in the 4th quarter this year..

the number was moved by sharps looking to get minn+6. the send out was +3.5 and quickly pushed to +6.5 by a little respected money. it fell to the dead numbers of +5 and +5.5 which was ok because pitt is a public team who could move it without help. i dont think it goes below 6. if the sharp and public money are both on pitt, the books could take a real pounding. pitt coming off a su win with 4 turnovers, not good. teams who win those kind of games tend not to focus on correcting their mistakes during the week. and gotta like minn 3rd down offense against the lowly pitt 3rd down d.

Also, Pittsburgh just played Detroit and Cleveland - so does that disqualify Big Ben's numbers?

I think people realize that Minn has had a little luck on the way to thier 6-0 record and Pitt are simple the working mans team nothing special they just go about the task at hand.  This is the week that Farve throws a few picks and he will be lucky to make it through the game without getting hurt.  PItt wins by 7-10 points Plus we all seen how great Minn is at at holding a lead in the 4th quarter last week

Tough spot for the Vikes with a trip to GB on deck - secondary is banged up and I expect the pass happy Steelers to throw it all over th eplace.  Like Pitt and the over.  GL

AT + 4 (if we consider 3 pts for home field) the bookmakers sayin that Pitt would be favored on a neutral site by 1.

I dont buy that myself; however, I do buy the inkling that at +4 they're welcoming minny-backing money... and at +5.5 or 6, they're begging for it.

Seeing the majority of wagers on Vikes (70% +/-) and the line still swimming upstream, has me leanin twrd the Steelers and siding w/ the books and/or the sharp money.

I'm a Steelers fan! I honestly believe they are playing their best ball now.  I think Ben can move the ball at will on Minny's secondary, just like Balt(385), StL(297), and GB(384) did. 

Those three lost to Minny due to turnovers and Farve's good play! If Pittsburgh doesn't give the ball away, they will win. IMO

 

I am taking the over, but my prediction is Pitt 31 Minn 27

those teams have a combined record of 10-23. Heinz field will be the toughest atmosphere they will be playing in this season and I think Big Ben will be much more excited to face off against Favre then vice versa.. not to mention the look ahead factor

guy just nailed it on the head.  look at pittsburghs 2 losses as well.
