Why do people think Bengals coach is gonna lay down?

I understand why the Colts did it, They already secured everything could for the playoffs and they feel giving themselves a better chance at winning a superbowl rather then going undefeated in the regular season has a much high value and that is understandable.

 But, Bengals coach laying down to the Jets in the last game of the season?  Come on doing that could have a lot of negative consequences it could get your team out of the flow they are in and cost them the play off game in the first round. 

When you change things up too much I would believe that it causes a stiffness in the offense/defense and players will get cold.

 

So please why do you think this team will tank?

Bengals have laid down in every game this season except for the Bears game...............They play to lose the game all the time........

take a look at who patriots play if they win or if they lose on sunday in the early game...

 

than...assuming the patriots lose..see who cincy would play if they win or lose.....

 

considering no one wants to play steelers or ravens....seems cincy loss might be better for them and pats also?

The line says all you need to know. Don't be like yesterday's Colts backers in thinking you can outsmart the linesmakers.

The line is 9 for a reason. They are saying the Bengals will play the backups. If you think the Bengals backups are good enough to keep it close then go for it. But don't try to be smarter then the linesmakers.

The Bengals would be foolish to try and play to win this game.
