If you love 2 games that much that you're willing to play them in a high risk bet just increase your bet on each game individually. If your a decent capper most of the time you wont lose both and this way you just lose the vig if you split.

    What about this action reverse???

Say you do a 2 Team Parlay with Patriots ML and Packers +4.5...and do another 2 Team Parlay with Patriots ML and Cowboys -4.5

Huge gamble on the Patriots winning, but its a way to make a better return than just a straight parlay.

Thanks for all the responses and I will gladly stay with individual bets...I'm not a huge fan of parlays, I think they are sucker bets.

Why not just put the money all on Pats ml. I know the odds are a little more in your favor in the parlay scenario but not sure it makes up for the difference on the losing parlay.

Sports betting is one of these perfect problems for machine learning. Much data is involved when deciding on which team to put our money. No matter what you call it, this type of bet is the most basic one of them all. Rounding out our explanation of common bet types brings us to permutation betting. This type of sports betting is one of the most complicated ones to understand. This only I know for more details check this one here given information is very useful to all. https://oddsseeker.com/

I can't believe people don't know what a reverse is.

Is everyone on this site so young that they don't remember life without online books?

A reverse is a bet on 2 teams. If you get both picks right, it pays 4-1.

If you lose 1 you lose the original bet amount, plus the juice.

If you lose both you lose double the original bet amount, plus double juice (that's the way my locals ahve done).

Bet $100. Win both, win $400.

    Lose 1, Lose 110

    Lose 2, Lose 240.

Degens who bet for fun often bet reverses on primetime games for action. See if they can hit both sides. But if they get both wrong, it sucks. If they get one side wrong, they've often feverishly cheering to only lose one side.

Reverses are not good bets. You only have a 25% chance of winning them. That's why when I knew someone that took bets, they ate every single reverse that came in. Because it was rare that you would lose money on those. And if you did, it was just one week. They gave it all back in subsequent weeks doing reverses.

If I was booking, I would take the 75% play all day. In the long run you'll always come out ahead.

One of these ideal problems for machine learning is sports betting. When picking which team to bet on, there is a lot of facts to consider. No matter what you call it, this form of bet is the most basic one of them all. Permutation betting completes our presentation of common bet kinds. One of the trickiest forms of sports betting to comprehend is this one. The information provided here is the only one I am aware of and is highly helpful to everyone on win diggers.

No one has put it into any terms and I think that's where people are left wondering.  Lots of examples of how it works, numbers...not words....

There are two concepts to an action reverse bet.  The IF portion and the REVERSE portion. People have now substituted 'action' for 'if' so don't get boggled by that.

An IF bet is a combination of bets, two (as stated here a hundred times), or more. People used to get crazy and go 4 or 5 levels drunk on scotch, but I digress...

IF your first selection wins, akin to a parlay, then your second selection has action.  IF your first selection loses, then the rest of your wager is cancelled.  Assuming the first wager wins, lets be positive here, the second wager is in the amount of the profits of the first wager (original bet amount is subtracted).

A REVERSE just means what was your 'first' bet in the IF bet example above, will also become your second bet in the REVERSE portion of the bet, and the IF scenario examples are treated as a whole new, and separate, IF bet  It just saves all the talk at the window to the cute cashier girl when youre drunk because that's the only time you bet this mess.

An action reverse bet combines two "if bets" on related events. If something happens in one bet (like a team winning), it triggers a second bet (often on the opposite outcome of the next event). This allows you to potentially win on both sides, but also comes with increased risk.
