Week 4: 4-7-0 -2.20 Units
YTD: 4-7-0 -2.20 Units
Well the books were pretty sharp this week as a lot of public teams cashed, but there were a few that managed to crash and burn.
Most notably for covering: Lions, Giants, Patriots, Ravens, Saints, Chargers, Titans, Redskins, Packers,
Most notably for tanking: Falcons, Bears, Bills, Steelers, Eagles.
I expect this to turn around next week and more public teams will tank. We'll see what happens.
Lines I'll be following for next week.
Cardinals @ Vikings -3 Like the attitude we saw from the vikings today they didn't give up and they played decent in the 2nd half, i think this will translate to their first home win, especially against a team that is known to struggle on the road.
Oakland +7 @ Houston - Andre Johnson going down today should be a solid impact, see a lot of people jumping off the raiders bandwagon now that they got worked by the patriots/ Think raiders keep this one close.
Bengals @ Jacksonville -2.5 - Jacksonville has been getting better this year. Gonna wait to see whats up with their secondary though. See a lot of people riding the bengals after they exposed the bills. Which should not be the case we already knew the bills defense was bad and we knew they hadn't been tested, and due to the bengals lack of offensive talent the bills still almost won even though the benagls had just over 450 yards of total offense and greatly out played the bills.
Titans @ Steelers - No line yet
Jets @ Patriots - No Line Yet
Chargers -4.5 @ Broncos - Chargers do just enough to get the win here.
Packers -4 @ Falcons - Falcons too good in the gerogia dome, expecting one side action on this after todays events. Gonna be rolling with the falcons for the upset.
Time to research and watch these lines move and the money come in.
