Way too EARLY 2021 NFL FUTURES $$ COLTS$$

What's Up Family ???

Very thankful for another Winning football season in the Books ( more on that below ) ..Appreciate everyone who participated in the Forums during the 2020 season...

Time to turn the page and look ahead to the 2021-22 season....As usual I'm looking to get a jump on the oddsmakers with teams who could improve over their current prices and have a legitimate chance of improving .

Team 1 = INDIANAPOLIS  COLTS  ...Right now the Colts are slated to have around 65 Million in cap space ( 3rd most overall) ..At worst they'll resign Brissett ,but I think they go in another direction ( Maybe one of these?)

1 Wentz.  Not sure if the Colts want to give up a first round pick ? Seems like an good fir with Reich , but I'm not sure he is the answer ..

2  Russell Wilson ...While I doubt Russ bolts Seattle he sure is doing a ton of Biotching Already ...

3  Sam Darnold.    Not sure Joe Montana would have looked good on Darnolds Jets ...Maybe Reich can help ???

4. Fitzmagic.    The colts have some nice pieces on offense = Better than anything Fitz has seen in awhile ...Id love to see Fitz lead the Colts in 2021.

5  Jameis Winston.   Doubt the Saints let him slip away , but anything is possible .

6  Trubisky.   Reich might need to be a miracle worker ..

7. Derek Carr.    Is he available?...Gruden might want a fresh start ..

8.  Andy Dalton.   Might fit a but doubt it .

9  Scam Newton .....Please no ...

I'm a big fan of the young core at RB and WR ...They might bring back Hilton , but I'm not sure they need him ..

The expiring contracts give the Colts some leeway to either resign or move on ...I'd like see Houston , Rhodes and Walker move on from the defense ..

The D Tackles are top 5 in the league in my opinion , Darius Lenoard is a stud at LB and I like the youth in the secondary ...Okereke could have a breakout season at MLB ..

My local has +550 odds ...Wonder if that price has value ???

I would not bet on teams that are trying to figure out their quarterback. I don't like the Colts franchise how they struggled in the playoffs when they had their best possible quarterbacks Manning, Luck and Rivers. Colts most likely to get Wentz and a better choice Fitz. I still like the Titans to win their division. Jags upgrade with Lawrence. Texans struggle without Watson.

I am a CLV fan, but I certainly don't expect them to get 10 wins in the 2021-22 season.  While they did finish 11-5 in the regular season, they actually allowed 11 points more than they scored.  They should have finished 8-8.  Finishing 11-5 got them into the playoffs and they surprised me by winning in PIT where they had lost 17 straight and then CLV covered against KC.  Of course that cover doesn't look so impressive after KC's Super Bowl debacle.

Finishing 11-5 will get them a tougher schedule.  They have a solid OFF but the DEF only has a strong D-line.  The LB's and D-backs are weak.  Ward and Vernon are snowflakes that repeatedly suffer injuries.

I can't imagine Heritage posting "10" as CLV's RSWL.  If they do, I will bet Under.  I do not foresee them winning 11 games again without markedly improving the DEF through the draft, free agent signings and/or trades.

One of the Daily Wager handicappers also likes IND, so good luck with your futures.  You bet a LOT more than I do, and most years I bet no futures at all

With Wentz's contract, it is more likely Philly sends the Colts draft picks.

Colts jumped out at me as well but the price is a bit lower than I expected. With that being said, the only QB's on your list that I would be excited about joining the Colts are Wilson and maybe Carr. Obviously, if Luck comes back that would be huge, but it's a longshot.

I just took a deep look at the Browns ....While the O Line looked great on all 22 , it looks even better by the numbers..Many grading sites have them #1 at both pass and run blocking ....

LB and secondary are definitely a liability..Noticed they had several LB's on contracts that expired ( probably a good thing ) ..Maybe Denzel Ward will take a big step forward next season ?

Wonder what they do with OBJ ???

I'm thinking oddsmakers will release the win total at OVER 9 ...The division is tough and probably a 3 way race again ....My numbers have them winning anywhere from 7 to 11 games.....

Over 9 sounds about right.  If 10 gets posted, it would probably get hammered down before I ever see it.

The Eagles sound out of their mind for what they want for Wentz ....Reportedly the Bears are growing tired of the Eagles wanting 2 1st Round Picks ...Also supposedly the COLTS want another player added to the Wentz deal before they'd consider 2 firsts...

Yes, I have heard or seen that 18 to 18.5 new starting QB's line.  That makes the upcoming season more volatile and unpredictable than ever before.

NE had a league-high 8 players who opted out; they could have a bounceback year.

Wouldn't be surprised to see it move to either 9.5 or 8.5 based on the draft or FA ..

If oddsmakers release it at 10 it would probably get pounded under ...

Did you mean +250 or +275?  CLV might not make the playoffs.  Of the 8 AFC teams that had 10+ wins, CLV at -11 had by FAR the worst points scored/allowed differential.  NE finished 7-9 and that was with 8 players opting out.  NE had a -27 points differential.  With a new QB that should be better than Newton, returning starters and a softer schedule, NE could finish with a better record than CLV despite CLV's 4 more regular season wins this year.

To win AFC is not the bet I'm looking to fire on ...Although maybe oddsmakers are tipping their hand having them a little lower than expected ...

To win Division and to make playoffs are the futures i'm waiting for ..Seneca sportsbooks and the large local has NOTHING yet ..uggg

I think the Titans are the chalk right now to win the South ...Hoping to get +190 or more on the Colts...If its +200 or more I'll throw down 3+ -5units ($600-1000)..Love the coaching staff, cap room , and playmakers ..FA might come and or resign on a discount. .

Wilson is a pipe dream..Although  it would be Fantastic, ...If that happens these odds probably drop to +650/+700

I'm just going off the current odds through the Seneca sportsbook and my local ...They both currently have the Browns as the 4th choice in the AFC ( behind KC/BFLO/BALT) ..+1000/+1050 ...With the 7th team added the Browns should be chalky to make the playoffs ...

 Will be tailing you on that Colts play. You’ve been pretty solid with your futures as of late. Plus I’m sure they sign a decent QB with knowing that offensive unit can prolong career.

CHARGERS to make playoffs and season wins over ...I'm guessing the Chargers will be the sexy dark horse or Cinderella this season ...Everyone is talking about the Other team in LA , but the books will probably have the RAMS over priced ...  Hoping for Chargets to make playoffs at +125 or better , and season wins Over 8 ....

STEELERS UNDER season win total ..FA deflections and a washed up RAPIST QB ( allegedly) ..The NORTH might be the toughest division in football outside of the NFC West ...Hoping for Under 10 ...

BILLS to WIN AFC ....I don't like the current +600 , especially as they will likely open the season on Thursday night at the  Kansas City CHIEFS ( NFL loves conference championship REMATCHES to kickoff the season in primetime ....Waiting to week 2 bc if the BILLS lose these odds will likely jump to +800 or more ....

I like the COLTS divisional play much better than to win the AFC ....Chiefs are clearly the creme of the crop ..I'd put the next 3 all together  Ravens/ BILLS both +600 , while the COLTS seem high ar +1200 ...

Loving betting Futures as they provide so much action without worry of that pain in the arse Point Spread ....

Yes, KC was a very lucky 8-0 SU in one-score games.  That should definitely regress next season.  KC was also only #3 in AFC point differential ( BAL #1 +165, BUF #2 +126, KC #3 +111).
