So tonight a very good NE team - with a red hot QB - getting +4 pts on the road, facing a mediocre but very desperate team in front of home fans, or they are toast!

Pats are 6 - 0 on the road while RAVENS only 3 - 5 on homefield 

Tied at 10 but PATS get huge UNearned lucky break with LAMAR knocked out....

So to recap in the early going:

- COLTS already down 2 starting OL, lose their center on opening drive. 

- Rviers drives them 72 yds for TD

- Niners counter, 69 yds drive for TD

- ensuing KO, more BAD LUCK against COLTS ...fumble goes to lucky NINERS

- Niners only have to move the ball 26 yds for lucky 14 - 7 lead...

- Rivers drives COLTS 66 yds to tie

- Niners drive 69 yds for go ahead TD

- holding of course on KO return, and COlts forced to punt...

- COLTS banged up secondary allowing Niners to pass at will...

- Niners then drive 75 yds  for  FG 24 - 14

- Rivers drives 44 yds for FG.

COLTS =  3 offensive possessions for 2 TDs, FG and a punt

Niners = 3 offensive drives for 3 TDs , FG.

Diff in the 7 pt game stats is that lucky break turnover early, denying the COLTS an offensive drive and handing Niners a freebie.  Otherwise the play is about even

One sack each.  Purdy did have a ball stripped in the backfield as he was passing but LUCKY for Niners it bounced up into the arms of the TE who was beaten by the edge rusher who caused the play.  Could have easily been disaster for lucky Niners.  

ONE penalty called on Niners.....escaping an out of bounds roughing!

FIVE called on hometown COLTS.  NO home cookin...
