Rendell was pissed that Philly Mayor Nutter made decisions that led to the game being postponed. If he had a say(which I'm not sure he did or not) then the game would have been played.
The blame goes to Mayor Nutter for having No Nuts.
When the Phillies won the WS in 08 he was bitching about the city having to pay for a parade.
If they would only fix the highly corrupted city officials and services then the city would have plenty of money for things that bring joy and excitement to an otherwise gloomy city. I thank Goodness every day that I was lucky enough to move from Philly to the West Coast back in 94. Philly is just one big ghetto now... shame.
If Frank Rizzo was still alive he would be appalled at what the city has become.

Rizzo could have dropped the incendiary device that he dropped on the MOVE house onto Lincoln Financial field, and taken care of all the snow and ice
