The INT happened BEFORE Gronk got raped by the LB. Therefore, no PI. It's that simple

the int happened because GRONK couldn't get to the ball he was faceguarded

WHo cares about the PI....what about the fact that 20yds down the field he was being bear-hugged???  Thats not holding or illegal contact??

Once the Carolina player who picked it, got position in front of Gronk, he had no play on it.  Ball was already in the air and badly underthrown. 

I agree that Gronk could have made the play if the Carolina player had not been there to pick it but the Carolina player had position before the faceguarding happened.

No chance with the position of the defender and ball being underthrown 3-4 yds that Gronk could catch that ball.  No chance.

Gronk was 5 yards behind the ball. He should have stopped running. The ball was intercepted no were near Gronk. He kept running out of the endzone

Thank u!!!!!!!! They just had a ref on both espn an nfl network say the same thing sort of lol . But they said the ball was thrown short so deemed un catchable by the wr befor the flag was thrown . 

These people act like they have NEVER seen a flag picked-up after a call. It happens in every game

 These guys do not understand this for some odd reason!!! I watched enough football in my life to clearly see this ball was gon get intercepted w/ or w/out the hold!!!!

He was 5 yards behind the ball because he was being faceguarded, meaning he couldn't cut because the defensive back was just looking at him and pancaking him without any interest in the throw whatsoever

I love this. Soooooo many posters crying about the play.  Really?  Good/bad calls are made every single game.  If New Eng didn't suckass so bad tonight...they wouldn't have needed to score a TD on the last play of the game.

Panthers didn't really look impressive to me saints should roll these bums cam is overrated and missed to many easy throws and his body language is terrible if that team goes on a losing streak there will be an implosion
