One thing about Canada though is nothing ever really changes up here. We all go to the doctor for free and take our maternity/paternity leave. We live the real dream up here. It's not one that is sold to us through the media like yours. There is a reason that Americans travelling abroad sew Canadian patches on there backpacks. We are loved all over the world. The first thing you are taught when traveling is to make sure they don't think you are American.
