I didn't see them catching many breaks on defense , but when In a close game in the 2nd half the flags are put away when points are needed ..
I'll have to check my notes , but according to my WWE BS list they rank as the 3rd most assisted team in the league .....
Of course I could be way off , but that All 22 makes it really difficult for the NFL to hide their " shadiness "
MAHOMES winning a ring would be huge for the NFL ... No one on San Fran is half as marketable as Showtime !!!!

But the proof is in the pudding , and the FIFA Simulations have won me over $17k , and the Madden Simulations have done very well this season ( better than my score Chart or point spread ratings )
The SIMULATIONS have been very good with the Chiefs this season ( 4-1 on suggested plays ) for a total of 9-3 on all simulated leans ...
I personally don't bet many unders , the Simulations were spot on the Steelers andd Bills under the total ...The teams combined to go under 24 of 32 games ...Again I was too dumb to tail as the Simulated leans went 6-2( not suggested )
The Sims sucked on Cowboys and Broncos games !!!

If KC wins it's going to be almost impossible to beat Mahomes (+115), unless a defensive player makes a game saving / winning play late or an offensive player goes bananas .....
I like Mostert but not sure if there is any value there at the current +600 after his huge game last week ....

I think the folks who sell you (and every one else) insurance policies would beg to differ. They make billions of dollars every year simply from taking past performance (e.g. accidents or in this case tackles for loss or interceptions, etc.) to predict future occurrences. Not complicated at all. Just simple statistics. These Sims are probably just some monte carlo type assessments that choose the most likely result on each play.
It is not a sure thing by any means, but gambling is not either. You play the side that has the higher probability of covering based on your capping. How you determine that side is based largely on data from past performances. Trends and Angles for example are based largely on what teams did in the past in similar situation. Power Ratings as well are completely based on teams statistics.
I am quite sure that the oddsmakers have their own predictive models and simulations. Too much money at stake for them to not to.
That being said, I already bet the over even before reading this thread. Mahommes is too mobile for SF D Line to contain in pocket, and SF D-Baacks are average at best, so I think KC puts up low 30's. KC just gave up 24 to Tenn Offense, and 24 to Houston. I rate SF O even better overall than both those teams, and see them scoring in the high 20's.
