**** Saints vs. Packers ****

As much as I love my Saints I feel like they are going to lose.  GB D is better then New Orleans D.  Saints can't stop the run for shit.  We saw that in the playoffs.  No different this year.  This will come down to who can stop who more.  GB D will show up.  Hope i am wrong.  No bet for me.   I will be rooting for the Saints !!!!

You dont think the signing of Aubrayo Franklin is gonna help the Saints run D? That was a great off-season signing for them at nose tackle.

I don't know if Aubrayo Franklin is playing or not...he's still nursing an injury.  Yes, Saints Run D is still a major concern, but since when did the Packer's run game scared anyone?

I think the Packers are getting smashed by the public just b/c they won the Superbowl.  Remember, a lot of teams get hot at the right part of the season and can take it all the way to the superbowl.  Everyone forgets that they barely made the playoffs, they couldn't even win their division.  They're not unstoppable.  To give a team of equal caliber more then a fg, I'll take that any day. 

As for the over/under... on paper..you would think the O/U gets set at 52+ easy... I think the Saints go back to ball control.  Cullin Jenkins is going to hurt GB as he was an every down linemen. 

As for the Bush/Sproles comparison...as much as I love Reggie, Sproles is just the better player.  Same skill set, but I don't hold my breathe every time Sproles runs up the middle or handles a punt the way I had to hold my breathe in fear of Reggie coughing the ball up.

I'll take dem who dat boys plus 4 vs any team in any stadium this year!

-Pack at home

-All players healthy!  Ryan Grant will be playing in this game!  He made Philly look sick in the opener last year before getting injured for the season.  He also has something to prove because his number 1 back status is in jeopardy.

-Lance Moore may not play, due to an injury. 

-Aaron Rodgers is a younger QB than Drew Brees.  Brees cant move or throw like he used to.  Green Bay pass rush gets to him and forces turnovers.  I see a 10 point win for the pack.

-Also, the Green Bay corners are very strong in pass defense, also see an interception or two of Brees.

-The pack offensive remains intact and should protect Aaron Rodgers thoughout the game.

 

 

 

Also, feel the Green Bay D is going to stuff the Saints running game and make them one dimentional.  Increasing the probability of Brees getting sacked and fumbling or throwing an INT.

Saints pass rush will have limited success on the strong GB O-line.

all stats trends ect aside...its quite hard to look @ the Saints getting 4.5 right now and lay the money elsewhere...a 3-4 pt difference in this game sounds very reasonable....neither team is gonna get blown out

actually, most books opened this at -3.5 or -4 and now it's -4.5

the line at 5 got hammered to -4 and -3.5 early one when it was just CRIS and Pinny and 5Dimes who had lines.

No Will Smith, No Lance Moore.  Those are two big losses for the Saints.  Jermichael Finley is back for the Pack which is going to poise a problem for the Saint's LB's and Safeties.  The Packers are the play...2 units.  The books did a great job with the lines in Week 1, much to the dismay of the gambling public.  Agree??  

Seriously? Reggie Bush is the most overated player of our time, always hurt and one dimensional, they addressed it by drafting Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram and signing Darren Sproules. I take those 2 anyday over Bush.
