NYJ@TENN + 1.5 write up Medium play

NFL has arrived finally and it’s time to win some cash and try and take advantage of mis priced likes in week one. I know we have to back Geno Smith here but, he’s QB’s with a new team are 38-34 SU as a dog of +5.5 or fewer in the past few seasons. The Jets are also 11-2 ATS & 9-4 SU vs Tennessee all time. The Jets have the top two offensive lineman in all of football with O. Fashanu & A. Meabou going up against a Tennessee defense that ranked 4th worst in disruption rate in 2025 and they lost their best defensive player in T. Sweat in FA. C. Ward finished in the bottom percentile in all QB metrics last season and got sacked at one of the highest in the league. The Jets play man coverage more than just about every other team in the league and Ward’s EPA vs man was a poultry - 0.26, that’s terrible. The Jets health score entering today is ( + 39.7 ) whereas Tennessee is @ ( + 23.7 ) Jets also added up front, D. Davis , M. Fitzpatrick, D. Onyemeta and 1st round pick D. Bailey on defense so they will be much better this year than previous years. Again Tenn has one of the worst offensive lines in the league. Jets will be much improved this year and I believe they easily win outright today. I’ll put another amount on the Ml but this is my posted play, NYJ + 1.5 2,200/2,000.
