NFL Week 1. Here we go....

We all got smoked in week one.

Lots of teams showed what happens when starters don't play in pre-season games.

Harbaugh was the only coach to prepare on both sides of the ball for the Chargers. 

Same with Tampa. They also were ready.

Dallas wasn't all that good, it was more of Cleveland wasn't ready at all. Loss of Chubb was disasterous for that run game. Watson is no good without a run game.

Pittsburgh will get smashed next week in Denver as they had 6 FG's -only 133 yds passing and only 16 1st downs..  They can't smell the end zone either.

seems like a good chain and author to get my first post under my belt with - obviously very new to gambling but looking to pick up on any bits of knowledge you give out during the year! was on a few of the same teams you had so maybe i'm in better shape than I thought. best of luck!! anyone has any other follow recommendations for NFL?

 I had 3 on Cincinnati & 2 on Saints. My plan was to bet against Pats & Carolina as much as possible. I also had a bet on Pats to be the last team to win a game at 6 or 7-1

QUESTION ... been addressed i know but to be clear .... lets use JACKSONVILLE +3.25 so half bet is +3 and half +3- ...... colts +2.75 is ? need help on this one ..... maybe +2- and +3 ?  ..... i should know this by now but would you mind clear it up for me .... I WILL NOTE IT AND NOT ASK AFTER THIS ONE ... thanks  vanzack for the help...look forward to a good season

 Look at post 13 in this thread. I would assume the 2.75 would equal half at 2.5 and half the wager at 3.

 All depends on the owner.  Some of the most gentle dogs I've ever encountered have been put bulls.  Dogs give unconditional love.  Humans could learn a lot from that.

Just lightly, we've all had worst. I put a half unit parlay on the leans and a unit on the Colts once they got to 3 to mitigate things further.

Monday is review day for me.  I am looking at every play from every game.  One thing I differ from public on....  I saw Bo Nix make a LOT of bad throws - interceptable throws - that he just got lucky on.  The media wants to crown the guy and it is very sexy to say that he had the best rookie performance yesterday - maybe he did - but if you watch the tape he was extremely fortunate.

im a huge broncos fan imo nix did what we expected for his 1st game yes he made some throws which he shouldn't but he will learn from it also missed on a couple open receivers . Denver needs to use the running game more they have 2 good backs once this happens then the play action or roll out for Nix will work as Nix is a better passer out of the box.

 Totally agree how fortunate Bo was.  Made some terrible decisions, he will learn very quickly with Paytons coaching.  Let's see if he gets better.  It's Payton's career on the line too

Danny Dimes and Bryce look like they don't belong in NFL. Can't wait to read your reviews 

I'm in a 20 person fantasy league with Love injured and Nix as my back up.

Either it's in Bo I trust, or it's time to make a trade.

 I see a vast team improvement for Broncos next week...Trust Bo, he can only get better...just how soon??

Steelers D should eat Nix lunch and Wilson should play with chip on shoulder. Wilson has to get start even though Fields got a win. Wilson could check out mentally if left hanging.

Steelers as road favs usually a hard pill to swallow tho.

I just think the Broncos will be playing from behind a lot this season.  I am not disagreeing with you - but are the Broncos willing to just throw away this season by committing to the run - even when they are down by multiple scores?  Not sure.

I think all QBs coming out of college and immediately starting in NFL are overconfident.  Saw it with Caleb yesterday also.  You cant get away with those rollout throw across the body off your front foot throws in the NFL like you can in the PAC10.

 Agree with the rookie QB part.  Which is why I had a large wager on Titans +4.  Pretty much a play against Caleb in his first start against a solid Titans defense.  I was stunned the way that game played out, it was unbelievable, really.  

It was sick actually.  I dont think anyone should complain the rest of the season on bad beats unless you had the Titans yesterday.  All I could think about is how that might just kill me lol.

You deserve at least one in exact reverse fashion.
