Hope life is good.
@Crusher13
Like your style i took Pitt on a teaser as well. I think they win a close game because of defense and coaching.

Rough start to the week. I believe bad streaks happens, but really would love to know how you come up with your bets. I read and track a lot of what you have to say, and betting dogs is key to your success, but the SF 49ers, MIN Vikings, and WAS Commanders were all favs with a fishy dangling line, SF -6.5 was baiting the 7 will cover, MIN with sunshine out at QB for JAC seem like another -7 seem too good to be true, I thought the WAS and PIT game was a coin flip, and all 3 games the pointed matter. The Colts had every chance to cover, but way too many turnovers but that lost seem Ok? Would love to hear your thoughts.

@MRxKrazz
Don’t think that van gives two shits about public/sharp plays. He has a system that he never strays from and it has probably made him a fortune over the years.

Thoughts? I am struggling. Probably worse than struggling, I suck this season.
Does that mean anything? No. I am going to be brutally honest here.... So read on only if you think you can read it unemotionally...
I am down 20 units give or take. I won 75+ last season. I have won each season for 7 straight posted, I would say around 600 units. That is posted. I do much better personally because I dont have the restrictions I do when I post (all at same time, all for widely available lines etc).
I say the above because it gives context. Perspective. I realize if you are a 2024 covers member, and see this joker Vanzack getting all these views and replies and losing almost every week - you think WTF? But my world - how I live - how I bet - is all down to long term results. So this season I am down about 20% of what I would feel like would be "uncomfortable" for me.
But more importantly - these 10 weeks are statistically insignificant. I could have pretty easily gone 5-0 in the early games, or 0-5. There has been a lot of that this year. And 10 weeks is not enough to change something that has been working for me for a decade. It wouldnt be smart to do so.
So I keep trucking. I get those who want to stop trucking with me. No problem. I understand. Once again - I am free voice on the internet. Thats all you should really think of me. I can assure you I live and breathe this stuff - so it is not due to a lack of effort - and should be understood that even though someone has previously been successful and puts in the time - it guarantees nothing.

For me-
First thing I do each week is look at the the games without the spread, create my own who will win and throw a spread on the game.
Catch any games that is off my prediction.
I do care about public and sharp, although I also understand both sides win.
Fishy lines is another one I pay a lot of attention to, 49ers -6.5 was one, Vikings -7 another one, but so was the Bills who easily covered.
My question is more, going thru the 10+ games on the board each week, how and what triggers a BET?
No one here have had more success than Van until this season, and for me, someone who loves to really get into this stuff, I am trying to pick his brain with how he comes up with his games. I can say with confidence most cappers here are easy to figure out, but Van is one I can not crack the way he handicaps.

Hey Van, like most, I appreciate your work We've all had cold streaks, breaks go against us, etc. Hang in there it's only half a season, positive regression is due

Sad to see the results this season bro, a lot of cappers are getting cleaned up. I stopped trying to be billy walters years ago and just bet 2 team 6 point parlays AT -110!(tie-push) and not only has my bank thanked me, my stress levels have never been lower.
eg today I had Steelers + 8.5 / Chargers -2
Also had Arizona +7.5 / Carolina +12 (yes this one falls out of “Wong” parameters but I’m winning at over 79% regardless of parameters)
before anyone tries to have a go at me, I am very situation specific with my bets (eg- no Clev browns, avoid road favs on big win steaks etc)
I don’t blindly bet, I get -110, and my bank account speaks for itself the last 5 years compared to the previous 10, so please anything negative is not needed.

For a guy who puts in 80 hours a week you spend a lot of time explaining yourself and telling us how much you've won in the past. Do NFL teams, when having a losing season, remind everyone how good they were the last few years?
