Yes! Upon further review you are correct I thought it was a generous line if you liked Seattle but wow even closer than I thought as to a correct line after digging into the game with a closer look with this popping up as to how evenly matched these two teams are. ![]()
The Rams and Seahawks split their season series 1-1 Points scored in those games: Rams: 58 Seahawks: 57 Total yards in those two games: Rams: 830 Seahawks: 829

GL with your play Sac. I'm still fuming from the Greg Roman Experience in the Chargers WC game. Chargers defense held the Pats to less points than the Texans did, but could only muster 3 points on offense.
I'd imagine you're feeling a certain way with the Bears exit too, but the Bears hung around until the end with a Super Bowl caliber team. They've got something special with Ben Johnson.
I happen to agree with this play on the surface, but haven't done a dive in. Looking forward to your write-up.![]()

Yes, it was a rather disappointing loss, for multiple reasons.
1. It was the first game of the year where the Bears defense not only showed up, but they put their foot on the opponents throat. They made the Rams punt 8 times. Believe it or not, no other team has punted 8 times this year in the nfl, regular season or playoffs.
They held Stafford to 6.1 ypp, 20/42, 4 sacks, 1 fumble, with a qbr of 67.4. Has he had a worse game this year? Without looking I'd say no.
We finally saw how good the Bears secondary is when close to fully healthy. Jaylon Johnson had great coverage and defended a few passes well. Tyrique Stevenson got more playing time and had tight coverage. Jaquon Brisker played out of his mind, hitting RB's behind the line of scrimmage, deflecting passes, and was great while blitzing. He had 14 tackles, a sack, a qb hit, tackle for loss, and 2 pass deflections. Kyler Gordon covered the slot well, and blitzed a bunch as well.
The Bears secondary was nearly 100% the reason why the Rams scored only 20 points. As I've said before, the Bears D line is awful. They weren't all that bad on Sunday. Dennis Allen called the best game of the season. He schooled McVay.
So, it's disappointing that the Bears offense was only able to muster 17 points. In a year where the offense has been the reason that they've been winning ball games.
They couldn't gain 1 yard on the ground multiple times. Give the Rams credit, they stepped up. But why wasn't Caleb killing the play call when the Rams had 7 or 8 in the box? Did BJ tell him to go with it regardless? We'll never know.
Could of BJ taken a couple of FG's instead of going for it on 4th down? Ofcourse, especially in a playoff game. It's easy to say in hindsight ofcourse, but I've been stressing this since forever. Especially early in a game, cause you don't know how many more times you will be in fg range, and, you just don't know how a game is going to evolve. Points are at a premium in this league.
It didn't help that the Bears receivers dropped 9 passes. The most obviously hurtful one was Rome Odunze which would of been a td. Caleb wasn't all that bad, he looked horrible in a stat line perspective though. DJ Moore quit on a route at the most important juncture of the game in OT. Caleb threw the ball to the void in the zone.
All in all, they greatly exceeded expectations this year. Their RSW total was 8.5. I hope that they can keep their core together and improve the roster for next year.

That would be nice.
But I'm afraid that we'll all be shitting our pants for 4 quarters, whichever side you're betting on.

@Riderx
I'll be asking you to do a query for us, maybe later tonight or later in the week.
I suspect that there won't be many results, if any. This is a truly rare spot I reckon.

OK, here are some things to look for:
1. This will be the Rams 5th road game in 6 weeks. Some things to include within these 6 weeks(if possible)...2 trips cross country to the east coast, and 2 overtime games.
2. If we go back to week 13, this will be the Rams 7th road game in 9 weeks. Things included, 3 east coast trips, 2 overtimes.
3. When is the last time(if ever), a team(Rams) won but didn't cover in 2 straight playoff games? If so how did they do the next game.
Thank you in advance ![]()

Let's get to some of the nuts n bolts in this game. I'll try not to bore you with PR's, stats and nerd stuff.
Here's the realities that both teams are facing coming into this game.
The Seahawks will have a rest advantage, playing vs the Niners on Saturday, and the Rams playing on Sunday @ Chicago. Teams with the rest advantage in the conference championship round have gone 21-7 SU.
The Seahawks rested starters in the 4th quarter vs the Niners. The Rams went into OT, in a game that reached below zero temps with wind chill.
When teams are on their 3rd straight road game, in the playoffs, and as a dog, they are 9-28 su. Play against the Rams.
The Seahawks lost RB Zach Charbanet to a torn ACL.
Coach Macdonald said Charles Cross who left the game out of "precaution" with a foot injury would not need to practice in order to play this week.
The Rams lost CB Emanuel Forbes during the Bears game. He's listed as questionable. McVay downplayed the injury and says he should play. He also said LB Byron Young has a sore knee, which is likely what limited him to a season low snap share, but he’s expected to be able to play against the Seahawks.

If you guys watched the Rams and Bears game, it was brutally physical, as most Bears game have been all year. And we get to use the "after a Bears game" trend one last time this year.
Teams after facing the Bears this year, are 2-13-1 SU, 5-11 ATS in their following game.
PS=17.62, PA=28, Margin= -10.38
The average spread in these games was +2.53, so the opposing team has beaten the spread by a 7.85 point margin.
The 5 ats covers in this trends were these #'s:
+10.5, +7, +6.5, +4, and -7.5(Ravens@Miami, Lamar came back)

I'm not comfortable betting the total in this game. I want to think that it'll be a low scoring defensive battle between two teams that know each other well.
Although, at the same time I don't know how much gas in the tank the Rams have left. Being tired does not invoke a strong defensive effort in most cases.
In their first meeting the final score was 19-21. In their 2nd game the final score was 38-37.
