Dolphins and Why:
Last year when Jets defeated Miami at their house because they had players that were capable of doing so. They had Cromartie and Milliner and both played great games, they also had Ed Reed. The Dolphins lost Brian Hartline during the first half of the game and with him out Tannhiel did not have a safty blanket to dump to. Mike Wallace had 1 td but other wise shut down by both milliner and cromartie. They also had a healthy S.Richardson and Wilkerson. Richardson rushed for a TD in that game.
This year they are without Reed, A.Cromartie, Milliner, Wilkerson, and not so healthy Richardson. I am more concerned about the CBs in this game because none of these Cbs will be able to match up with Mike Wallace speed and Hartline will be on the other side with Jarvis Landry playing slot. I dont believe Jets will be able to stop the Passing game. DId you not see what Robert Woods did to them? I mean Robert Woods? Ryan Tannehil is a different animal this year and has much improved from his first couple of years and this offense system fits him perfectly.
Also in that game Jets had to use a couple of Trick plays to gain some ground on the Dophins. I can see Rex pulling that again in this game. I think Joe Philbin and his team will be prepare for what is coming. No more trick plays for Rexy.
Everyone is also talking about how bad the rush defense for Miami was last week against the Broncos. But what we learned from Broncos vs Chiefs game is that C.J Anderson is a solid RB who can run the rock. So we can't really say their rush defense is not all that good.
The Offense line for the Jets are horrible and that won;t change this week.
I see jets falling behind early and will have to air it out to get points. That will be exactly what Miami wants is for Geno Smith to throw and get away from running the ball. Dolphins has the revenge factor from last year and Joe Philbin has circled this date in his calendar.
Also, most parlays in in the NFL this week are dead money, meaning Vegas has won enough this week and the public took a big hit. Tonight will be the public's money as most of the public will try to double up.
Give me Dolphins -6.5 or 7

Just remember most of the Geno argument was the same to the word that was said about Sanchez last year. I said it then and fee the same way . Its the Jets system with young QBs , more than the QB . The Vick thing was as bad as the Tebow thing, big name that are too big to be back ups to a 1 and 2 year QB . They need Vetern backup to teach ,Not worse QBs than you who are only there to take your job . Rex cant handle young QBS he is a QB kiler .The Jets needed to do what Arizona did get a VET like Palmer .and sit Geno for 2 years to learn . .Them now talking about getting another rookie QB is insane unless along with that comes John Grueden Or Harborough
about tonight ,.. don't agree with the Bills Maimi reference at all , the Bills beat the Browns .Miami has choked in every big game they played including in Buff .
Like the angle of humiliation , posted many times as a Jet fan I dont bet with or against them . But do think the Jets score some points , Geno has a rare good game just to screw things up more along with the Fish ,Something weird always happens in this matchup .1 or 2 special team plays this goes over the 41

Sounds like a fan making his mind u for him .So many facts that mean nothing .How many time have you seen this exact set u back fire for the average team who some are trying to make a case that they are Super Bowl bound . The beat a banged u Charger team split Buffalo beat Jacksonville and Oakland ,caught Pats who historically they beat regardless in week 1 . Wouldn't be surprised either way but this false tribute to a team who never wins a big meaningful game sounds like someone trying to justify a big bet (more like scared)

The personal from last year to this year has change ALOT for both teams especially Jets. They lost their Two TOp COrners and Rookies will be getting playing time like Rex stated.

Jets causing turnovers... that's what everyone sees the Jets as now lol. Books don't think Jets will be turnover prone tonight though so i'm not worried.

its either miami -7 or no bet, i just dont see how anyone could put money on jets. jets have been just awful. their defense has a better chance of scoring than their offense. miami has been probably one of the most underrated teams in the league this reason.
miami is playing for a playoff spot while jets look like they gave up on game of football. (lost to bills 38-3 after a bye week, couldnt even score a touchdown on neutral field)
miamis last 3 losses were all on the road, by 4 points or less to denver, lions and green bay!
in week 9, dolphins shutout chargers, 37-0. while chargers shutout jets (31-0) few weeks before that
these teams are on the opposite side of the spectrum, you have a top 5 team playing vs worst team in the league. (after jags beat giants, its safe to say Jets are the worst team in the league)
miami will treat this game as ticket to the playoffs, so might as well play like its playoffs
obviously nothing is a sure thing, specially after when jets beat pittsburgh few weeks ago at home. everyone and their mother had that game in their parlay for a sure win. pittsburgh turned the ball over like 4 times and didnt have 1 big play, yet only lost by 7 points.
im looking forward to another monday night blow out.
