McNabb traded to the Redskins

Let's all remember that Elway didn't "win the biggest game" until the rat came along (not to mention a very special RB) and he was 2 years older than McNabb is now when he finally did prevail. Not sayin that Shanny is the elixir that cures the ills of all-pro veteran QBs and is the missing piece of the puzzle when it comes to the ultimate hardware, but it's clear that a similar formula will likely be put in place in Washington, bc most of the ingredients may already be in the cupboard...

They are too cheap..plus they probably want to give Matty the Lofter a chance to screw things up first.

Donny wanted to play here, he lives here half of the year and he would have been a great fit, but the FO is too cheap.

Kolb may not work out but dmac isnt going to win anything the man seems to show up small in big places. he had 5 shots at making it to superbowl and won 1 time

There are a lot of good QB's who didn't get there at all and there are questionable QB's who won them. It is a team sport if your QB can get you close sometimes you have to win the game for him with turnovers or running, Philly never did any of those things.

All I know is that #5 helped lead his team to 5, count'em FIVE NFC championship games, tho he only prevailed in one of them... but as for not being "clutch", I'm not sure that's an entirely true statement gang. Perhaps Shanny is a better playcaller than Reid and will be a better fit for McNabb going forward...

I usually can remember bad plays and besides not having a great superbowl, it wasn't horrible. He also threw that pick to barber in the tampa championship game but I really don't remember the eagles winning games that he didn't contribute to.

They put a lot of pressure on him to win the games himself with his arm or legs.

Manning didn't win his superbowl, his defense contributed that years, I believe he threw 3 tds and 6 picks...They wanted him to be everything this year and it failed..

Your team has to contribute and win some games when your not playing your best.

 

I don't think the eagles win more than 7 games this year...I also think the redkins can win the division if the giants don't get it together. The cowboys are very overated.

Reid is a water boy compared to Shanny, not even a comparison.

A "waterboy" with a bad mustache to boot wallstreet, Reid is among the most OVERRATED head coaches to EVER call plays in the NFL, there's just no denying that assertion, and we are not alone... let's see Kolb and co. "get it done" in the NFC East now that the under-appreciated #5 is gone from the Eagles' fold... as for Shanny, it might be tough adapting to the NFC, but my bet is that he's a quick study now that he's got a suitable QB with a big arm and legs that still work...
