Eagles deserve to be torched by him. It is a kick in the teeth for mcnabb when you consider GB wanted nothing to do with playing Favre optioning to trade him for less to the Jets and putting in all sorts of restrictions. Basically eagles said we aren't worried about him. I am not a huge mcnabb fan but he is a good QB.

People bash the eagles for how they treat McNabb, then they trade him to a decent team (unlike the Rams, Raiders, etc.) and they bash again. 
The Philly organization has been nothing but good to Donovan. They've tried like heck for years to get a SB. No they didn't give him great weapons to work with most of the time because they used their $ on defense. Maybe they thought Donovan was good enough to carry the offense. Now they give him weapons and their Defense suffers (losing JJ didn't help).
Philly usually dumps guys when they hit 30 or shortly thereafter. If Philly wouldn't have extended Westbrook a few years ago, they would have been "stupid". Well, they extended him, and it didn't work out.
It was time to move on in this case and Philly did the best thing for themselves and Donvan. If Kolb stinks, so be it. It was time to find out.

Why? A high second round pick and a third or fourth round pick next season seems like fair market value to me. He's 33 years old. Why a respected pro bowler, who is a team leader, INSIDE THE DIVISION to a rival team. For a 2nd round pick and a possible 3rd or 4th round pick in the future.
I would have to say I expected them not to DUMP him to their own division, and at least trade for an established player that can be used instantly.

The 37th pick in the draft is awfully close to the bottom of the first round. Are those declaring this to be an "inside deal" (as many were after the Matt Cassel deal) still be singing that tune if McNabb were, hypothetically, traded for the 32nd--and final--pick of the 1st round? Probably not. And why? Well, because the Eagles would have received a first round pick for McNabb. But what's the difference between the 37th pick and the bottom of the first round? Not a whole lot.

Obviously the eagles dont think that highly of mcnabb and they should feel that way... hes on the wrong side of 30 and im glad we play him twice a year cause it wll be good to see him on another team hitting receivers in there ankles and laughing after interceptions, let the kolb era begin!!

Trading McNabb to a division rival was questionable, but what they received in return was not. When determining whether or not the Eagles received fair value in return, the team with whom they make the deal is irrelevant, in my opinion.
And the Eagles will not possibly be receiving a third or fourth round pick "sometime in the future." They will be receiving either an additional third or fourth round pick next year.

anyone remember playing madden 10 on xbox live when it first came out? there was a preview of an xbox live show for madden 10...they did a simulation of trading players to different teams. they traded mcnabb to the redskins for campbell and in that simulation the redskins won the nfc east...hmm good prediction

Question: did the Redskins make any improvements to their offensive line this off season (serious question)? Considering how much abuse Jason Campbell took last year and with Donovan McNabb being, well, a sack waiting to happen, the Redskins better hope those aging running backs still have something left in the tank. And, yes, I know Campbell holds on to the ball too long and doesn't always make the right read, but the same could be said of McNabb as well.

hey redskins fans, dont get to excited casue lets face it dan snyder does this every year getting guys who are in there 30's and there big names that dont amount to shit... mark my words U WILL NOT WIN A SUPER BOWL... Eagles traded him in division cause they know its a guranteed 2 wins playing against mcnabb
