Well said, Rawm. Seems this Martin kid has a few screws loose.

Same with Incignito. This dude is very obviously a wacky guy, he originally was crucified for his past. Not saying he was a changed man, but until this incident, he was a model citizen since getting a possible last chance with the Dolphins. His teammates seem to love him and regardless of whatever damage control BS the Fins are about to use, its pretty obvious coaches went to RI among other methods to "toughen him up."

It seems most people on here are split about this whole thing, but I truly don't understand the "he was threatening him" mentality. That voice mail was so over the top wacky, can you really take that seriously??? Idk, this whole thing smelled funny from day 1, and I think this kid has some major emotional problems and some screws loose and at the end of the day, football is probably not something he should be doing if he can't handle something as silly as the locker room.

He was from Stanford, right?? I wonder if Jim Harbaugh made a statement about this kid. In this day and age, I seriously doubt we would get a truly honest comment from him, but I am interested in hearing what Coach Harbaugh thinks.

Does Martin get chicks? Maybe the guy is a Moe and that's where some of this bullying came from??

I hate Ritchie Incognito, always have, always will.

With that being said, I actually don't mind those voice mails at all. It has been reported that if you asked Martin two weeks ago who his best friends were, he would have said Incognito.

I don't know about you guys, but the dynamic among me and my friends is the closer you are to somebody, the more you can rip on them and get away with it.

For instance there is this italian kid I've been friends with and his nickname is w.o.p. Or if I'm talking to my brother I'll prolly refer to him as a co$k sucker in jest.

Hearing the voicemail immediately made me think they were good friends and in this case it was like a guy ripping on his younger brother.

Also, all you people who think Martin was bullied are wrong. When all the facts come out, you will see this was mostly about MONEY and Martin dealing with a lotttt of stress (struggling, moving positions, and losing are a lot to deal with for anyone. Then you add some outside stress an who knows anyone could snap.)

It was also reported that Martin participated in a prank a few days prior in which the offensive line got up (martin included) when rookie Nate Garner sat down at the table.

So you will see that maybe Incognito said the wrong thing on the wrong day, but this whole thing is not all Incognitos fault...I still wouldnt care if they cut him tho

Sounds like the Dolphins and all of Incognitos teammates would like to have him back, but it won't happen because it would be a PR nightmare

Here are some quotes from some of the players today.

Tannehill: "I think if you would have asked Jon Martin a week before who his best friend on the team was he would have said Richie Incognito....When he wanted to hang out outside of football who was there John and Richie".

Tannehill: "....Everyone attacking the locker room that it was such a bad place and no leadership to stand up and stop the situation. No one knew there was a situation to stop."

Hartline: "...one if im not mistaken this the same guy who was laughing about this voicemail at the time.....there were some things said that shouldn't have been said...but with that being said I never thought that was a death threat...and if your going to take validity from one part of the voice and not another you aren't going to pick and choose which parts count and what part don't count"

Here are some quotes from some of the players today.

Check out this link to the twitter account of one of the Dolphins beat writers. Sure seems a much different story than whats being reported by espn, nbc and the likes.

NFL players are mean.  Sort of comes with the job.

I am wondering the details of Richie's contract....reports were that Miami was looking to scrap the deal anyhow. Pretty convenient way to free up some cap space.

Personally, I couldn't care any less what goes on in the Dolphin locker room.  I am curious about how a man the size of Martin could allow himself to be "bullied".

Right on glyde. It is funny how great minds think alike. I agree with you 100 percent. Real men handle that situation differently than Martin did.

Here is just a thought. Martin is a smart kid. Both of hiss parents are lawyers who graduated from Harvard. His grandfather graduated from Harvard as well. What I am getting at is they are a very intelligent family. The parents are lawyers. What if (after learning of Martins treatment his rookie year) they planned this? Let's say Martin either wants out of Miami or even out of football all together (like the guy from Denver). Martin will sue the Dolphins as well as the NFL and make millions of dollars. He can then retire from the sport and all of it's dangers (CTI in particular). So the parents being lawyers (and very intelligent) devised this plan in the off season. I mean let's face it, Incognito would be a very easy person to make out to be a bully (he IS the dirtiest player in the NFL). Obviously they were close enough to where Incognito thought it was okay for him to use "N" world so freely. In fact, other black players stated that they had no issue with Incognito talking like this (and let's be honest, chances are this language goes on behind most closed doors in the league). This could explain why Martin was keeping v/mails.

My first thought was Incognito is obviously a bully because he is so dirty. But when you hear every player come to his defense, it just makes you wonder.... something is definitely off about this whole situation. The stories just don't add up.

I read where Tanneyhill (I believe) even said that Martin was like Incognito's little brother. I'm jut throwing a thought out there to see what you guys think. Is this possible?

If this were the case, I don't think Martin would have exchanged texts with Incognito in which he says.

"I don't blame you guys at all, its just the atmosphere around football.''

That would be pretty damning to his case. It is possible though

Look at you...doing your best job to a  politically correct liberal. Get out of here.

Incognito crossed the line, but one thing is for certain...you need to either tell on him when it happened OR confront him. He did not do that. What he did was sit back and hang out with the guy afterwards...your can check twitter pictures. Secretly he hates Incognito like a girl...but never said anything until now.

Honestly, everyone on the Miami Football team has Incognito's back...why...because they rather have him on the team.

There are people that are fool, and if you are a man you either deal with it or you don't. You act like this world is full of jolly elfs and butterflies and that is where you are wrong. Maybe you were bullied when you were a kid and thats fine because that is your problem.

    Antrelle Rolle says it the best;

"I wouldn't allow it to happen," he said. "At this level, you're a man. You're not a little boy, you're not a freshman in college, you're a man. I think everything has its limits. There is no way another man is going to make me pay for something that I choose not to pay for."

If you believe that telling on someone months after something happened then you are a liberal little bit.ch who thinks everyone should be treated fairly. Life aint fair and if this is the biggest thing that has happened to you in a life where you are a successful NFL player...then you are doing pretty good.

But hey keep defending Martin it just shows me how many times you have been punkd growing up...lol. Sucks for you. I;m sure you and your wife spoke about this and you guys both took the same side awww. How cute.

This is hilarious. You can tell by reading the posts who was bullied growing up and who wasn't or did the bullying. For those that were bullied, learn from it and toughen up.
