what up men? little foggy from last night, good ole jack daniels is a bitch sometimes, hahahaha. nothing a few hot n ready's and some crazy bread can't fix, haha. anyway, time to get back to work.
1-3 nfl playoffs
atlanta's defense is going to have a tough time stopping this giants passing game. eli and company are clicking on all levels. and as i right this, i just heard on sirius nfl radio that brent grimes is inactive for the falcons, that can't be good for their defense. giants have won 3 of 4 including the win and your in v the cowboys. they are just playing well, both rb's are healthy, getting some production out of Ware in spots as well. damn, that is a big blow to their defense not having Grimes in, they only ranked 18th in pass defense to begin with. not only are they mediocre at best in pass defense, but look who they have played: take the saints out of the equations and they've played such devastating areal attacks like: Houston (yates, no johnson), Jax (gabbert), Minn (ponder), Tenn (hassleback), TB (freeman), Indy (painter). I would say the giants passing game is a bit more polished, and explosive than that group of juggernauts. they don't rush the passer very well as they have gotten absolutely nothing out of ray edwards. abraham can still play, but hasn't been great. on the other side, JPP and company are on fire, they are all healthy, they better be b/c their secondary has been out of position all season, that certainly is a bit of a concern, but its all about the d line and the pass rush for new york and i think they will make their presence known today. i don't think ryan has been very good in playoff games, and his playoff games have been in domes, now he's outside, on the road, and he's got a disparity in his road and home record. since they were blown out by the saints, the giants have been playing some really good ball, including a near knock off of the packers. giants have survived quite a few injuries and have been a tough group, now are back in the playoffs and healthy and I think down right scarey. hopefully the good Eli shows up and if so, the giants are better than the falcons. They were 6-2. They were 1-5. Now they are 2-0 coming into this game today against the Falcons.

on the surface it seems like a terrible mismatch, but i'm not sure it really is. the last vision we have of the broncos is their offense being about as inept as an offense can be. that was also against the chiefs and a romeo crennel defense, that same defense who shut the packers offense down, so i think i can excuse the broncos and tebow for a lackluster performance against the chiefs. looking at the last few steeler road games, they don't look too scary to me - a 7 pt win over the bengals, 4 pt win over chiefs, 17 point loss to the 49ers and a 4pt win over the browns. they haven't had a ton of sacks and haven't been locking down the run all that great either. roethlisberger is def not 100% and just flat out hasn't played like it. lacking big plays and mendenhall being doesn't help. the bronco's certainly aren't playing all that well either, no dawkins, von miller has disappeared and they just haven't played that well. tebow has been awful, they really don't belong in the playoffs, much less with a home game, the steelers are, well, the steelers. this game is all about perception to me and the perception is that the broncos don't belong on the same field as they steelers. i'll take the bronco's.
