Allow me to use a strange angle for the upcoming NFC Championship. Boxing fans will understand more than others, and being I am one myself I will share with you my thoughts on a fighter named Manny Pacquiao. For those of you that do not know, MP went on a torrid streak of fight wins, oftentimes in convincing fasion, and more often than naught against bigger and "better" opposition. He was considered a buzzsaw, beating many big names throughout the streak. I was usually on the losing fade end of most of his fights, thinking to myself how can this guy just continue to dominate everyone he faces. For eace and every new opponent the task and mantra was always the same; what do I need to do to stop MP. All of them didn't have the answer. He was/is just that special. Which leads me to this weekend's NFC matchup between The SF 49rs, and The ATL Falcons. And I'm hearing the same kind of talk that haunted me during my MP fade days; how do the Falcons stop Colin Kaepernick. I realize that the two sports in question are light years apart, yet very similiar in many respects, most notably in physicality, but I can't stop thinking about how foolish it was hoping that a fighter/trainer somehow came up with a plan to stop the buzzsaw that is MP. I'm not going to fall for that this time, as my experiences tell me CK just may football's version of MP, an unstopable buzzsaw. He literally ran through Green Bay's defense, he could very well do the same to the next two opponents he faces.
San Francisco ML and -4
San Francisco future to win the SB.
Thanks and good luck.
