Baltimore's John Harbaugh is a "Class Act".
San Fran's Jim Harbaugh, on the other hand, has a lot to learn about being an NFL coach. Let me state, he does an AMAZING job coaching his team, its some of the little things he dropped the ball on this season.
1. Not returning calls from other coaches before preseason games. Wether or not we know it, or agree w/ it (i personally dont) it is commonplace for coaches to discuss what aspects of the game they're going to work on in a preseason game, beforehand. Harbaugh did NOT even show the courtesy of returning Sean Payton's phone calls. Even if he didn't want to play that game, which i wouldn't either, a courtesy call should have been made.
2. The little "tizzy" he threw after beating the Detroit Lions. His team deserved the win, they outplayed Detroit, and Harbaugh DID outcoach them, but the way he carried himself after the vicory was "sickening" to watch from an NFL coach. Nice to see excitement and enthusiasm, but ACT LIKE A MAN.....
3. Finally, refusing to make any comments to Fox after the loss to the Giants. Remember dude, like it or not, its television and the fans that ultimately have paid your salaries would have to listen to your ass if you had won......so man the f*ck up and give them their due interview. Thats part of Media101, interviews from players and coaches from BOTH sides following a big game.......
In conclusion. I believe Jim Harbaugh is an amazing coach. He brings a level of enthusiasm to the game that we don't see as often as we should. And I realize his players love him. I believe he's got the tools to become a great coach, he just needs to reach deep in that toolbelt and sharpen up the ones that he DOESN'T use during the big60 (gametime).
Maybe we can chalk these miscues up to being a rookie coach.
