He had much to do with it, BUT it was more the offense and the 1-18 (I think was the final count) 3rd downs that did them in. 

Honestly he had alot to do with it, but the niners lack playmakers at the wr position, and that in my opinion was the real reason they lost this game.

Alex Smith played well enough to win with a good defense at home. Both games proved that special teams proficiency is key to winning tough playoff football games.  So this begs the question....who is going to choke in Indy?

well he did almost break it for a td his next touch on a kickoff return and did get it to midfield which had the offense been able to convert from there would have gotten him off the hook.
