This is the same Miami team that beat the Bears last year as huge dogs.

Thank you....i dont get the history linkage between these two teams when both underwent changes. NE added better WR weapons and have been putting up pts with more success than prior NE teams that played vs Miami. Miami D is not the same during those matchups as it is now...and some of the matchups posed need to seriously be reviewed. I dont think people realize who played and who didnt. For me to blindly just take previous head to heads and think it helps this Sunday is foolish imo. Not even trying to diss or come across as a smartass.

But yeah i cosign your post bro.

Yes but the Bears QB was Rex Grossman who threw 3 INTs and lost a fumbled ie accounted for 4 turnovers. One INT was returned for a TD. Bears had 6 turnovers that game. You give any team 6 turnovers and capatilize on them you're gonna win. Buffalo lacked the offense to do damage to Dallas with some of the turnovers. I know 2 of them went for Tds but the Bills offense no touchdowns.

Unless Tom Brady has a Rex Grossman like performance and the Wr's/Rbs have thier share of drive ending/killing drops and/or fumbles? I dunno...Ronnie Brown could do damage like he did vs the Bears last year...think he had 150? But NE offense is twice that than Bears offense...and the D is better too.

I will say this...i thought if Dallas wanted to beat NE? They would have established a running game to control the clock and keep Tom off the field. I dont think they executed that gameplan enough and Ronnie/Fins could but i dont know.

Its a better chance Miami covers the 17pts than win SU. But NE has been rolling...chsse til you get burnt. Eh

Puma is right............in the past Miami's D  knew how to get pressure up the middle on Brady (Taylor) and shut down those huge throwing lanes(that no one else in the NFL seems to be able to figure out or accomplish) his O Line seems to always provide.
In my opinion this is how the Phins always gave the Pats a hard time...get to Brady! If you can't do that you don't beat the Pats. Something is severely wrong with Miami's D this year,they cannot get any pressure on opposing QBs,giving up tons of yds. on the ground and the secondary is young.I have not seen Miami's D look this bad in years,and that's who you are depending on to cover the spread when you bet the Phins,especially with the Pats IMHO

Good Luck though .....I for one would love to see an upset !

On the minds of NE this week in Mia is the loss to Mia last year cost them in the playoffs...that loss changed their destiny which ended up having them face Indy in Indy.
 
NE will get revenge this week, Brady will pick apart Miami's secondary...and who will Mia pass the ball too if NE put 8 men in the box to contain Ronnie?  Ginn or Booker?
 
This could possibly be a 35-0 final to send a msg to the ex-undefeated dolphins who'll be watching that this NE is on a mission.

I think one has to recoignize when a LEGEND team appears in scene and it's beyond statistics, trends, etc. All of those numbers just reflect games between a typical good nfl team (Cowboys, Packers, etc) and a typical bad NFL team (Bills, Jets, etc). So OK Miami has given some trouble in past years but hell these are very different teams. Worst Dolphins team in years and the best ALL TIME Patriots team. And if that is not enough the revenge factor is also present. Don't you think Brady doesn't want to crush the Dolphins remembering last year?. We all know the Pats are heartless (last minute TD against Dallas) so make sure that NE will be willing to make this a blowout.
 
Not sure if I'll take action on this game but think of this before betting Miami.

This game is contradictory...

-Can the pats really win & cover 7 of 7?

-Can the fins team mentioned above beat 17 on the pats team mentioned above?

no randy moss on those teams, Cam Cameron is an idiot, at least previously coached Dolphins Teams had much better coaching, QB, WR, & DST

Kind of like one of those stupid threads where Washington has never covered in Lambeau and low and behold they do when that stat reaches out. Miami is extremely weak with no o-line or secondary, Pats by 35.

Dont you think that if any team would win and cover 7 straight would be this years edition of the PATS? Man those stats dont mean that much, i am a sucker for history sometimes too, but when it comes to this matchup dolphins probably never was this bad at the same time as pats was this good? Dont think history counts in this matchup... but GOOD LUCK THOUGH =)

Has anyone seen the pats this year?  They are in their own league.  Dolphins have no QB and just gave away their best receiver.  They barely competed with cleveland last week.

Actually, I think Cleo Lemon is a diamond in the rough.
I also think he's better than Green.He will move around the pocket more than spent trent.
