***HUGE THANKSGIVING DAY PLAY ON THE PACKERS VS LIONS GAME***

Got a nice win with the Patriots on Monday, had to sweat it out but whatever, a win is a win................Thanksgiving is here already & around this time of the year is when everything heats up in the NFL...............eat plenty of food on Thanksgiving & be thankful for what you have because there are always others out there with less than you...............



(Packers -6 at Lions)

Packers are coming into this game undefeated & are looking to continue their success by beating up on the Lions. Packers last week were in a terrible spot coming off a Monday night blowout which resulted in a win but no cover vs Tampa...............the Packers were looking forward to this game like they do every time they come to Detroit on Thanksgiving..................

The Lions are tied with the Bears at 7-3 & look to take the 2nd place lead now that the Bears have lost their starting qb, unbelievable............problem with the Lions is they dont play much defense vs good teams, so I dont see the Lions doing much on defense vs the Packers. The Lions will try & keep up offensively but to no avail, they will be outscored & the Packers will cover.............

You will not get another spread as good as this one with the Packers........maybe next week at the Giants but I doubt it............this is a gift, take the Packers -6 & run with it..............as far as the total goes, im looking at a score of Packers 37-24, but I dont play many totals, my play is the Packers.


Lets look at an angle & some trends for this game:

If both teams are coming off a home game, the homedog is 4-12 ATS on Thursdays. Play on : Packers -6

Lions are 0-7 SU & ATS past 7 Thanksgiving day games.

Packers are 7-3 ATS last 10 vs Lions.

Packers are 4-1 ATS last 5 played at Detroit.


This is a HUGE play for me like the Patriots game, except im not laying a crazy number like -14.5 or -17. This number of -6 is too good to pass up so I hit it hard.

PTB i'm usually with ya buddy but with the addition of Kevin Smith at RB for the Lions this changes their offense immensly.   He got 140 yards on 16 carries on Sunday and 210 all purpose yards.  With a really good running game now it will open up some of their passing lanes and cut down on Staffords int's.  I wish you luck but that Ford Field will be rocking and the Lions will be higher than a kite.  Lions won 7-3 last year in Detroit with Hill at QB.  Detroit with Smith are a lot better team this year.  Anyways  with your pick i have to go Lions +5.5.

No, only my HUGE plays are HUGE....................

I will have some regular plays this weekend, in fact, I will also be playing the Ravens -3 on Thursday night but dont know how much yet, will wait until after the Packers game.

The Patriots are only -4 at Philly    hmm.........just cant see how you anyone can bet this game, very tough.

Don't be fooled by Kevin Smith's numbers last week.  He was playing the Panthers who can't stop the run at all with the injuries they've had this year.  It was a nice game, but don't think they all of a sudden have a good running game...they don't!

You watch and see just how good he is Thursday.  Besides i'm not just betting on him this Lions team will be up for this game and now i see the line has gone to +6.5.   The Lions win this game.

I like GB to win this game...well said biglionsfan I agree...Kevin Smith against the depleted defense of the Panthers is a different story then Kevin Smith against the Packers on a quick turnaround ( I was happy for Kevin Smith though...great to see that-sidenote)


PTB - Nice run on these big plays...I see you included ATL in a tease...I assume you see this game as a win? for ATL?  The ATL line opened up at 9.5 at my book, I was hoping for a little lower

Thanks man & as for the Falcons game, I do think they win SU but dont like the spread because I think the Vikings cover it. Falcons were covering all game & decided to let the Titans come back for a push or cover, depending on your number. 

Falcons did the same to me last year when I bet them vs Tampa & I was giving up like -10 & they let Tampa come back to cover. Falcons defense is horrible this year, not like the Vikings are better but the Falcons should win this game SU none the less.

Patriots down to -3 at Pinnacle from an opening line of -4.5........................

Man are they playing mind games with line............do Eagles win SU. We all saw the Packers blow out the Vikings on Monday night to come back last week & not cover..........becareful with this game, its a no play for me.

Last time Packers didn't cover a game (vs. Vikings), they came out and covered the next game........

Well, Packers didn't cover last week...I am trying to figure out if they will cover this week.

This line is low and 2 things can happen....it's a fishy line and ppl play the homedog, or the line is asking for Packers $$$ cause it's only -6.....

I don't know..I am leaning with Lions at home cause dogs been barking and this is probably the best Lions team we have seen in a decade, the bleeding gotta stop on Thurs for these Lions.

I think GB gonna cash out here again and lose back/back cover weeks.

I may even hit Lions ML...unless you talk me out of it PTB.

PTB I would not take packers in every single of my play, Like you have on all your teasers. If by any chance packers lose by 5 or more ALL your parley are history. Think about it, 1 team in all parley??
