you talk how pitt will shut down the run game and blitz rodgers.....but what about green bay defense how is pitt gonna score agianst them because they are a damn good defense if you havent noticed. 

Just remember my Detroit LIons (not one of the best teams in the NFL they are getting there but not the best yet) beat this same Green Bay team 7-3 seven short weeks ago.  As far as defence goes that was against the weak NFC teams and this is the Pittsburgh Steelers much tougher and more talent.  Hines Ward is one of if not the toughest receivers in the entire NFL and will catch the ball in any kind of coverage and get up and laugh in your face.  Pittsburgh will win this game bet Green Bay only if you want to throw money away.  Do you really think if Green Bay can win this game they pull out a victory by any more than 3 pts then you are kidding yourself.

This game is about HOW THESE TWO TEAMS MATCHUP AGAINST EACH OTHER! All I hear is about Detroit.Maybe Detroit matches up better with G.B.Let's not go on 1 game because when Pitt played against pass HEAVY teams they didn't WIN! N.E and N.O. Green Bay is more like those two teams then they are the Jets and Ravens.The one BIG DIFFERENCE is that A.Rodgers will take off for some key runs for 1st downs and run to create plays in the passing game.Tom Brady on the other hand wouldn't cross the line of scrimmage if his ass was on fire! Who is Pitt going to block Raji,Matthews and Jenkins with? What is Pitt going to do if they can't run?

I didn't read thru all the posts to see if someone mentioned this, but Rodgers faces pretty much the exact same style of defense every day with Caper's scheme. IF the Pack won't be able to run the ball, then they will spread it out and exploit Pitt's secondary like the pats did. This game ain't in Pitt, it's on the fast track indoors. look at Rodger's QB ratings inside. I'm glad you think it's EASY MONEY.  Congrats on your win, go spend it now.

All i am saying is if i can get 3 pts which i already have locked in on one of if not the best defence in the NFL and an animal like Mendenhall then i will take it.  Like i said if and its a pretty big if Green Bay does win it will be by 1 pt or maybe a last second field goal which at worst gives me a push.  There is no way in hell Green Bay is going to blow out this Steeler team.   I'm sorry i should never have  left James Harrisons name out of the mix because he will probably be the one to knock concussion proned Rodgers out of the game.

I will add this IFGreen Bay wins by anymore than 3 pts i will be on here right after the game to apologize for all my rambling.  My rambling is because i'm looking forward to this game more than i have any Super Bowl in long time.  Going to be a great game.

NFC was better this year. Did u see the 1H of the pro bowl? Wasn't even close... Packers had much tougher road than Steelers. This year's steelers are a shadow of their previous teams. That secondary is going to get torched. Sanchize picked them apart last game's 2H, watch what Rodgers does. Your right, it is too easy taking the -2.5

Rodgers was out of 3 of the 6 Packers losees including the Detroit one and I think the Skins one. Detroit was actually pretty tough at home, ask brady and the boys after their Thanksgiving game. I know you're a Steelers fan so all i will say is good luck. My money is on GB and should be a really good game.

After reading this thread and others, I am glad to see the line move up to GB-3, folks can now buy the hook and try for a middle for a nominal fee... I'll just take PITT +3 and know that I have great value... ARodg is talented, and so are his receivers, but without a reliable running game that can keep PITT's D-Line honest, they will be one dimensional (although spread out), the Steelers have the athletes and personel to limit the damage thru the air on defense, but POUND the rock on the ground, spin the clock, and shorten the game on offense, Big Ben is 2-0 in SB's, and LeBeau is the best in the Biz, as others here have said... yes, I am a broken record... tough tamales.

PITT gets #7

I'm on PIT and the under. IDK what happens to the PIT Steelers when it comes to playoffs abd SB's. Some observations, Casey Hampton manhandled Mangold the great NYJ center. The PIT O line look how they handled the Balt D line, Ellis and the NYJ D line ate up the PAts, PIT O line completely nuetralized Ellis & Co. Right now at the right time these guys are playing beyond there capabilities.

One other thing if any other QB (and i am including Mr. Rodgers here) had gotten their nose broken like BIG BEN in that last regular season game they would have been out around 3 games.  Big Ben throws on a piece of tape and is in the next play.  That plain and simple is Pittsburgh's toughness and they all have it.

It is always enjoyable reading the pre game banter.

A wee bit of experience tells me and I share this with you all, not that you have not heard it before, but the outcome of the game will be determined by the points scored after turnovers and by significant injuries. 

The Cheese Heads have momentum as well as the Steelers. Not much to choose there. The Steelers have the experience edge. This is important. They both have strong O and D. This will/should be a great game.

Steelers should be favoured but the masses choose otherwise. The masses are usually wrong and I think they will be again. I hate the Steelers.
