***** Bills v Broncos *****
This year's Buffalo Bill team is an interesting one, as we all saw Mahomes & the Chiefs dynasty deteriorate before our eyes, plagued by injuries, offensive inconsistency and overall lack of late game execution. The infamous Murphy's Law states " anything that can go wrong , will go wrong." That is essentially what happened to this year's Kansas City Chiefs, part of an epic collapse that I predicted prior to the season, as +300 cashed for the Chiefs to miss the postseason.
Murphy's Law also states " Any solution can create its own problems."
Well... Just because the Kansas City Chiefs are no longer relevant, the public is led to believe that Josh Allen , now void of his kryptonite ( The Chiefs ) , has an easy path to the Super Bowl, right? Think again.
Sean McDermott is just 8-7 in the playoffs, and coming off his first post-season road victory , we are led to believe that this year's Buffalo Bill team is an exception , one in which they have finally gotten " over the hump" and that superhuman Josh Allen, dual-threat QB and probably the QB most similar in sheer athletic ability to none other than Patrick Mahomes, can finally climb the mountaintop?
Well, if there's one thing we see time & time again... Unless a team proves you wrong , don't jump too quickly to any conclusion. Josh Allen has now led his team to seven consecutive playoff appearances. Sure, he's got the playoff experience, but what makes this team any different than previous versions? This year's offense, behind Josh Allen, is comprised of James Cook --- definitely the bright spot--- time & time again exposing good defenses , from the Texans to the stout New England Patriots d-line, and also dominating against the Panthers & Chiefs this season. He is well-rounded, consistently breaks tackles & led the league in rushing this season.
That said, the Broncos identity has always been stuffing the run, as they were 2nd allowing just over 90 yds per game again this season and were yet again absolutely dominant this year , so if Josh Allen & James Cook are at all limited ( which is reasonable to assume --- given Mile High Stadium in January), can the WR corps get going?
Led by Khalil Shakir, the question is totally valid. Broncos have shutdown corner Pat Surtain leading the way and if Shakir is unable get going in the short/ intermediate routes, do the Bills have the speed to get open ? Unlikely. Dawson Knox & Dalton Kincaid don't have the speed to get separation against this defense and Brandin Cooks is their #2 reciever ( possibly the x-factor on the outside ), but now 32 yrs old is their #2 reciever, with a whopping 279 REC Yds on the year. Keon Coleman is their 3rd--- has just 7 catches in the last 5 weeks and is lucky to be in the NFL. The Broncos did show some vulnerability to mobile quarterbacks late in the season, but...
Let's not forget Bo Nix's first playoff game was a loss to these same Buffalo Bills one short year ago in which the result was never in question, getting manhandled 31-7.
Sean Payton has had this game circled for a year. Yes, he's only won multiple playoff games in the playoffs just once. Yes, his QB lacks experience. But his defense more than makes up for that.
Meanwhile, Sean McDermott has ruled out Hairston & Jordan Poyer , two of their starting defenders in the secondary, which bodes the question if this Bills D can contain Bo Nix ?
We hear time and time again how bad the Bills run defense is , but if the likes of Courtland Sutton and Franklin , who possess the speed & length to separate and Bo Nix can manage the game effectively , who's to say this year's Denver Broncos won't flip the script on last year , dominate time of possession, and return the favor for their blowout loss last January ?

When it comes to Josh Allen in the postseason, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
Fool me seven times?
I will re-iterate... To break a streak as on-going as Josh Allen leading the Bills and coming up short for now (7) consecutive seasons... You must first establish an IDENTITY to " reverse the curse." Yes, pound the rock all you want with James Cook . Maybe you'll see some daylight , but the issue all along has been that the Bills D can't stop the run & hence can't get off the field, and now their secondary which has been praised all year for being the strength, in fact being 1st in pass yds allowed is banged up at the wrong time. Spoiler alert. This will not end well.
The Play:
Denver Broncos -1 --- Play Of The Weekend --- 7U
Denver Broncos Alt Line -5.5 (+175) ---- 1U
Buffalo Bills Und. 23 Pts (-115) ---- 4U

The restaurant I run was way too chaotic to post pre-game for the late game but I'll finish the night with a massive 2nd Half winner...
Leaned SEA pre but didn't play it.
Instead, we will take a massive win hammering...
2nd Half UNDER 21
This one is beyond done. Seattle will pound the rock & milk this to a comfortable blowout.
Goodnight & Good Luck to all!![]()
