It was right past the sticks, but with the potential for a touchdown depending on the coverage. 2 Raiders went with Pickens leaving him wide open to run into the end zone. but if one defender stays with Lamb then it’s a toss up if he is able to catch it then turn and run into the end zone. There’s a scenario where he catches it but is tackled resulting in a first down and more time off the clock.
ceedee is one of the biggest stiffs in the nfl. he looked like a fucking idiot dropping that pass. terrible actor. same guy that came out for one route in the 2nd half to stiff his prop bettors

Not kicking it surprised me as I said in another thread at least he'll get the over but had to edit when they kneeled. What was the point of kicking it with what half a minute left really
what was the point? they kick it all the time your fucking idiot

The books would probably do better is there was another score. That way, there would be no middling of the total. A lot of people bet under 51, 50, 49.5. A lot of people bet over 48, 48.5. If there is a conspiracy to manipulate the total, they probably would make it so they would not middle themselves.

What a bunch of losers in here. Pete Carroll was a mentor to Brian Shotenheimer. He didn’t run up the score out of respect for the coach. Doesn’t have a thing to do with your $25 Over bet.

@theMatrix24.. Every knowledgeable bettor KNOWS the books never ever want a middle number situation. You are the square and do not even know it..
yeah that's why the easy over stayed under. that's why ceedee dropped an easy td. that's why they kneeled it out when every fucking team calls timeouts no matter the score. the worst people in the world are boomers who still think this shit is legit. never grew the fuck up

I hardly ever bet totals because of the volatility and unpredictability late in games. That being said I am the #1 proponent of teams kneeling down and finishing the game with the least possible chance of an injury. Once the game is over and there’s virtually no possibility of the other team beating you, you absolutely should pull the starters off the field and kneel down as soon as it makes sense. Coaches that continue to call run up the middle play’s when they don’t need to are the idiots. Get out of the game healthy and move on to next week.

LineLord nailed it- it was odd. The other team had 3 timeouts... you kneel the ball- they take TO. Repeat 3 x. Other team gets ball with 2:35 reamaning. Turnover on downs. Never seen that. The other thing is that Oakland didnt use the TOs... they just went along with the very strange ending. I have always laughed at the "rigged" people, but last night was weird

@L0adingshow you just answered your own question. If you aren't going for the FG because the game "was basically over", then why go for a TD? Just run it into the line and give the raiders the ball at their 5 yard line.
why do they have to kick the field goal or run the ball? They ran a play to get a first down with a potential for a td. They dropped it.
if they had scored the TD people would be crying that it’s fixed for the over.

@theMatrix24...Rain man the late line of 48.5 did go over and all early line of 50.5 made under bettors winners . Hence many books got middle ..You do not bet you cry for kicks..
Be careful with the ax Eugene.

I capped the game at 38-17 Cowboys. To be safe, I bought the over/under down to 47.5 to give myself 1 score margin for error. Needing a safety in the 4th quarter was a bit too close for my liking, but I'll take it. Call me lucky. For every one like this that does go my way, I have 5 more that go the other way. (Don't get me started on horse racing. The worst bad beats ever!)
Dropped TD passes, missed kicks, players now sliding and staying in bounds to keep the clock running instead of scoring, etc. is part of the game. Get the next one, gents.

You have to be a special kind of special to think the books give absolutely one fk about the result of one total on one regular season game out of the millions of things being bet on all year.

I don't understand how everyone here has missed the fact that the Cowboys' kneeling on the 4-yard line was a tribute to their fallen teammate. By kneeling on that land, they remembered the late Marshon Kneeland.

@Jimmy_Cats Yea but they were at the goal line …. Or few yards from it …. After a TD. What can raiders do anyways …?? Why not give people a good show, raise up the scoring / red zone stats??
I didn't say I liked it; only that this is what teams do. Chiefs did it in the Super Bowl when they beat the Eagles. I had the Chiefs -6.5 alternate line, with real nice odds. KC intentionally won't walk into the end zone and score the TD. They downed the ball again on the next two plays, kicked a field goal, game over 38-35 Chiefs. I don't like that crap either!
