After being here awhile I noticed a trend that seems to be pretty reliable. The more exclamation points in a header, the more you fade the play. I went back 8-10 pages and gathered up some picks from the !!!!!!!!!!!!!! abusers. We got picks from those posts like the Ravens, Houston, Denver. One of the few non-failures from the !!!!!! crowd was oddsbuster, but odds only uses !!!title!!! Therefore I think there may be a correlation to the use of 4 exclamation points or more. These seem to definitely be fades in most cases. And in general the more !!!!!!!!!!! there are, the worse the pick will be.
Today we have a serious title line offender offering several!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! telling us not to bet on the Steelers. Do with this information what you will. Just thought I'd mention it.
