There's some good info here but one thing is missing from the original post way up top....injuries. Even though Gronk is on the sidelines the Pats have played many games without him this season and are used to playing without him. Now, if he got hurt last week and this was the first game without him I would agree the Pats would be at a disadvantage.

Here's the problem with Baltimore.....their defense is not that good as compared to previous years. I bet them on a couple of occasions this year. How many teams have been able to march up the field on this year's defense to score at the end of the first half or at the end of the game?

Also, the Pats defense is much improved since they met earlier in the season.

Good Luck with your plays today

Anyone who thinks the Superbowl losses were Brady's fault should not be allowed to watch football. Also if you think Brady is not the best QB in crunch time, you are crazy. No other QB in the history of football would I rather have in the 4th Qtr than Tom Brady, and yes that includes Montana and Elway.

people don't like to hear these  facts , and the NFL  super bowl crap is just that,,  a bunch of crap  ,

when you play in a division with Miami buffalo and the jets you make the playoffs every year by default .

Now all there is left is that you win two home games and your in the super bowl , way too much is made of getting to the super bowl its a big  Farse  it's   just another game . But they make Brady getting to 5 such a big deal ,

The Boston Bruins played in 25 playoff games and won 3 7th games to win the Stanley Cup , that's a real championship !

what greatness are you referring to?  regular season success?  what has he done in the playoffs to warrant him as being a GREAT quarterback since 2004?  dont get me wrong, i really like tom.  as a matter of fact, he has won me 5 games and 0 losses this year.  i bet the pats -3 superbowl last year.  BUT,tom has not shown me that same clutch stuff since 2004.

You Sir are a fool. In the new NFL with free agency and teams constantly changing, what the Pats have been able to do is remarkable. For you not to see what Belichick does year in and year out is sad. It is a Huge deal to get to 5 superbowls and to win 3 of the 5 is fantastic. Stop hating and learn to appreciate greatness.

No other QB in the history of football would I rather have in the 4th Qtr than Tom Brady, and yes that includes Montana and Elway.

what greatness are you referring to?  regular season success?  what has he done in the playoffs to warrant him as being a GREAT quarterback since 2004?  dont get me wrong, i really like tom.  as a matter of fact, he has won me 5 games and 0 losses this year.  i bet the pats -3 superbowl last year.  BUT,tom has not shown me that same clutch stuff since 2004.
He wins with less talent around him than any other QB in the history of the sport. Listen,I am A long time Knicks fan and hated seeing Michael Jordan beat them year in and year out,I hated MJ but I always knew I was watching the best player ever and it is the same with Brady. He is head and shoulders better than any QB of his era and one of the best if not the best of all time. How ant=yone can argue that fact is insane.

lets make the super bowl a two out of three series to make it  a legit championship  otherwise  its really a farse

every one will say oh they can't play that many games ,,  well them eliminate  a couple of pre season games and a regular season game

make it a more legit championship . what we have now  is nonsense but people don't really see it for what it is cause it's always been this way.

Here's a useless stat for you guys. In conference finals with Brady, NE is 5-1 SU, 3-3 ATS, and 0-2 when laying 7+ points. Just FYI

no son, you are a fool.  here is a patriot team that has done nothing but spend out their behind in free agency since 2006.  prior to 2006 this was team that all about bringing up players via the draft.  now lets looks at their free agents since:  randy moss, wes welker, adalius thomas, derrick burgess, albert haynesworth, aquib talib(via trade but they still have to pick his contract, chad ocho joko, brandon loyd, visante shiancoe..the point is:  they have been one of the most AGGRESSIVE spenders in free agency in the last 5 years!!  you got that?

if you like guys that throw the ball 0-10 yds over 80% of the time he's great , on a skill level its about a 1

last years playoffs and super bowl Brady was 0-13 2int's on ball that he threw 20 yd's in the air or longer . that's pathetic

greatest QB ever    he's really a system QB ,  up tempo  short passes it works,

but as far a skill and ability not even close to Arron Rogers and a bunch of others who play the game or have played.this game .

So reading defenses and controlling the game isn't a skill set? Please stop watching football or atleast stop talking about it. Brady is the best in the game,to argue that is silly

I agree that they have made some bad moves in Free agency but they don't hold onto those guys. What was wrong with the Moss pickup? going 16-0 is a bad thing? He had his best season ever with the Pats. And they still develop players through the draft, just look at the starting teams? Wilfork,Mayo,Hightower,Mccouty,Spikes,etc... offense. Brady,Ridley,Gronk,Hernandez most of Oline.etc... They do things right in NE. There are 31 other teams that will tell you that.GL today and good luck with your search to find a better QB in the game than Brady

Thanks sammy....with your write-up, it gave me more confident on my ravens wager. Also added some on the ML.

And quess who that was, the 2007 Giants who happened to win the SB scoring the fewest points of any SB winner, and of coarse we all know who they beat that day scoring a pathetic 14 points.

    Teams don't win SB'S scoring 14 or 17 pts, for a high-powered offense, yes that's a choke job.................................................

I suppose there will still be those who wear rose-colored glasses.

Brady's Pats scored 76 pts more than the 2cd highest scoring team in the regular season.

But today he scores just 13 pts going into the redzone 4 times and coming away with 1 TD. Or was it 5 times with 1 TD and 1 int.

Yea right guys, blame-it on the defense.....................................

You can't take away the SB wins and the incredible success he's had, but if you want to be honest with yourself there's no denying he has played very , very poor at times in the playoff games.

Thome Brady's career is basically the opposite of Elway's.. Success sometimes comes later sometimes earlier. Can't take his 3 SB rings away.
