I've been moosed before but she skipped an entire line of the anthem to screw my over.  What will happen next

I agree,  She was popular in the 90s, but not now.  It would be like if Backstreet Boys did the national anthem.  At least have a national icon sing it like Stevie Wonder or maybe someone from Texas??

I didn't know that "and the twilight's last gleaming" was sung twice until I checked the lyrics online.

I'm a horrible American if I can't even remember the "Oer the ramparts" line was skipped!

The time that I seen was 1 minute 54.02 seconds, but my book graded it as a push. I guess they just round the hundreths of a second.. I can't complain though...

Anyway, here is what is being reported about the anthem:

Christina Aguilera flubbed a line as she belted out the national anthem at the start of the Super Bowl Sunday night.

When she was supposed to sing the line "O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming," she instead repeated an earlier line, with a slight variation.

The former North Hills resident sang "What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last gleaming," which is the same line from earlier in the song but with the word 'watched' instead of the word 'hailed.
