$8,000 10-Team Teaser Parlay, Hit 9/10 So Far, Should I Hedge?

I rarely post, but the thread title says it all, should I hedge this bet, or let it ride on Washington tomorrow? I really liked all of the dogs this weekend, I just wanted some extra insurance with the teaser, and now it all comes down to the game tomorrow. I bet $508.59 to win $7,628.85. Let me know your thoughts below!

+14 against Steelers... I think they cover but might as well bet Steelers $500. Worst case get your money back.

i would look for alternate line -13.5 pit and see how much u can make on 500

At least get your 500 back. But I like Washington. I have them teased to +16.5. You might get some hedging opportunities in game as well.

You are an amazing contraption.  I have a hard time hitting two-team teasers.

I would certainly hedge.  You don't want to end up with nothing.

I would put down around 3,800 on Pitt -6.5,and if they win by 7-13 points you hit them both.Worse case scenario is you win around 3,800,thats worse case.Best case scenario both hit and your up around 11,400,good luck whatever you choose,good job guy.

I would hedge on this because I only do it pay outs over 5k.  I would take steelers spread for whatever you want to guarantee.  For me I'd probably do around 3,000 and hope for a middle

If this is life changing money for you, then hedge

Do you have access to in game bets? If the Skins score first, then you will get a really nice number to hedge with. If Pitt scores first, the lines won't change near as much because they are expected to score first...

Here is what I would do.  Draftkings has winning margin odds. I would use 1000$ as hedge money.  Steelers to win by winning margin 13-18 is +460.  I would pout 600 on that to win 2700$.  Then 19-24 is +750 and I would put $300 on that to pay out $2250.  25-30 is plus 1500, so you could throw 100 on that for 1500$.

This way you would be covered to win something all the way to a 30 point loss.  I think Washington easily hangs within 14, but I would at least guarantee myself 2-3k this way just in case.

 Well shoot, I'm in Indiana and I know know only a few states has draftkings available.  So maybe the book you use offers winning margins as well.

I would totally hedge in this case. 7k is a lot of money and I would be pissed if i can’t even guarantee some portion of that winning. I was in similar situation yesterday, took a 5 team parlay 50 to win almost 1k. The last game was packer- 8 and by 3:10pm i was able to hedge Eagle +8 for a small sum. Ended up working out but i was always guaranteed some profit, which is going to Christmas shopping for the family. Good luck.

Hedge. The Skins probably cover but what happens if the Steelers blow them out. It’s a real possibility. Not worth riskng trying to pocket an extra $500

The way I look at it is you basically can have 4 possibility's(now these numbers maybe off a little due to juice or if you push on the Washington +14,not exactly sure what would happen in that scenario,imagine it would just knock it down to a 9 team parlay)but for the most part the numbers are pretty accurate,accurate enough were you can see the jist of what I'm trying to explain

1.Stay put,dont hedge and hope Washington dont lose by more then 14,if that works out for you then your up 7,800.Case 1 +7,800

2.You stay put,dont hedge and Washington loses by more then 14,your down your original 500 bet,Case 2 -500

3.Do like I said in post 10,hedge around 3,800,if both bets hit your up 11,400.Case 3 +11,400

4.Do like I said in post 10,hedge around 3,800,if only 1 of the bets hit,depending on which bet wins,your either up around 3,600 or 3,300.Case 4 +3,300 or 3,600

Now if it was me the only scenario I would really not want to see is example #2,losing the teaser bet and being down the original 500 bet,everyone of the other 3 I could live with.So if we could totally eliminate the chance of case 2 happening,why not do it.But if we hedge we also eliminate the chance of case #1 happening.So that only leaves the 2 other options,middling them and winning them both,which would be +11,400 or hitting one of the bets and being either +3,300 or +3,600,either 1 I would be happy to win.So go to the store get your favorite beer or other beverage,hit the dispensary if you like to partake in that,kick back enjoy the game and hope Pitt wins by between 7 and 13 points,if they dont your still guarenteed 3,300 or 3,600,I dont see how that could turn out to be a bad night.
