With the temp in the area of -30 below..... It doesn't matter who the more physical team is coming into this game..., throw it out the window.

Just like in week 1 packers loaded the box gore had 21 carries for 40 yards.....

not the same players on the field on defense for the pack that were there week 1 

Ur right.... They have a healthy shields and Burnett and  a year of experience for micha Hyde in their secondary that got torched.... Only guy missing is clay...with or without they haven't been any better all yr

Cdubz The only guy missing is Clay?You say that like he is a scrub. This is another reason why I am on the 49ers. Heart and Soul of their defense. Kaep will have some comfort in the pocket and a spy on him that he can out run now.

Kaep does not throw well on the run, Aaron is the better passer and in these conditions, I think GB has an edge, not much but still.  It will affect special teams, FG attempts, etc.  turnovers can play a role.  Remember the year NYG went into the playoffs and preceded to knock out all the higher seeds?  I think GB did much the same the year before and beat  Philly in Philly and went on to win the SB.  Not saying it will happen, but it may.

This defense this year has been the same with or without clay....clay is not the leader of this defense ( they don't have one). 

If it is -30 then this game will be decided at the line scrimmage. 49ers have an O Line that can really dominate the Green Bay front 7. On the flipside Green Bay wont dominate the point of attack on Offense. Also, they will have a nice running package for Kaep that adds a whole new dimension. While Rodgers will be hesitant and will play it safe and not move around or "take off" when nothings open.

SF is clearly the better team there is no doubt about it.  GB defense is weak.  I am going to SLAM SF but only on one condition and that is if it doesn't snow.  If it is cold then I don't mind because Kaep and Gore are going to shred that GB d-line and rush for over 200 yards combined, you can quote me on that!  Crabtree will be targeted a ton on 2nd/3rd and short and that covers.com is how the niners win this game by running the clock and getting those crucial first downs.

Week 1 is irrelevant, remember Kaep threw for 412 yards!! No need to RUN in that game when the passing game was successful.

I doubt he will throw for 300+ yards in this game but I will put money that gore rushes for more than 44yards like he did week 1

whos got the better defense......yes weather will be well below zero................running game / defense wins.........injuries a must to look at

Letgopack is right on that. But if he takes the Pack he will be wrong. Lol. The funny thing is Im from the only area that is half Bear and half Packer fans.

 

Obviously I am rooting for GB...but I am not betting this game. 

I just like the chats on see on this game and people betting each side for the wrong reason...

For example, betting GB just because its cold...

Or betting SF cause gb is only 8-7-1 and SF D is so much better and will shut them down, or GB D stinks....

GB is 6-2 with Rodgers..if you look at the game they lost without him, Bears at home, Philly at home, Minn tie, Pitt at home, NY at NY....all 5 of those were tied or only 1 possession games in the 4th qtr...it is very easy to say they win all 5 of those without Wallace, Tolzien or Flynn at QB...13-3 or 12-4 is the worst record GB probably would have had this year

GB D allows only 22 ppg with Rodgers which ranks 13th in the NFL, and only 14ppg at home...With Rodgers at QB, the defense is on the field less, less short fields and less 3 and outs

 

Fact is, in the first meeting this year, GB had the lead with 7 mins left in the game....SF was 9 for 18 on 3rd down and turnovers were 2-0....

I believe 3rd down and turnovers will once again decide this  game, especially with home cold it will be....this game can go either way

First week until now are so far apart. The Niners didn't have Crabtree. He is back and 100%. The Niners receiving corp is very solid. They really get no credit. I love that Kaep threw for 300 against a good Zona defense last week. I see no reason why they won't win the turnover or 3rd down battles. Good Luck
