By my handicapping sheets I had six games this week where one team (given all the edges) was far and away BETTER than their weaker opponent entering the game.
Here are the results:
LIONS -10.0 = failed to cover and struggled just to win by only 3 
CHIEFS -12.5 = failed to cover and perhaps fortunate to win by 2
VIKINGS = failed to cover and VERY fortunate to win 
(I had VIKES su)
COMMANDOS = rout! 
TAMPA = failed to cover 6 and INCREDIBLY lucky to win in OT
BUFFY = rout!
Only 2 covered! ....4 failures to cover, despite having MASSIVE edges! and all 4 flirted with a straight up LOSS to a much weaker opponent!
Tonight, DENVER joins this list as massively BETTER than the Charlie Browns

I am LEANING Denver moneyline in LIVE betting, and only if their early play warrants the risk...
After an initial Broncos 3 & out, the Charlie Browns missed a golden opp to go up 7, or at the very least 3....but blew it.....My capping sheets/records show that USUALLY that comes back to haunt them....No score, mid 1Q...LIVE BET: Denver -310 *BB

But honestly, had the underdog Browns managed to score when they were presented the golden opportunity, I would have waited until the Broncos started their subsequent drive (so the line on Browns would get better) and grabbed the Browns then.....
But, game of ups and downs.....and inches too.... I fully expect BROWNS to play better tonight against a home team that is perhaps overlooking a weaker opp and EXPECTING to win.....This may get really close, like the 4 failures I outlined above in post #5663

Mid 2Q and the favored home team is LOSING 7 - 10...and being outplayed after 5 each possessions by 187 yds to just 75 and a whopping 6.9 YPP to Broncos just 3.1

I took this live bet believing the Broncos would outplay the Charlie Browns and eeek out a win, maybe late. That could still happen theoretically but it's not looking good, as they are CLEARLY being outplayed and only ahead because of a missed FG plus a lucky pick 6 - otherwise, a Browns lead of 20 - 14 is much more indicative of true, "non-lucky" performances so far.... Based on early 2H play I might be fixing to grab Browns ATS for a shot at a middle, but pray for a DENVER su win if I can't get the middle....undecided....

Lol... I think you're only seeing what you want to see. Browns have no run game and they've been relying constantly on Jameis "Interception" Winston airing it out since the game started. It wasn't "lucky" - It's the Broncos defense doing their job. You'll see the tide turn against them this half as there is no way they can continue to rely on the passing game. Broncos will pull ahead.
About mid-3Q and they have traded TDs in quick fashion. BROWNS still *OUTPLAYING* Denver and should be leading by 7 right now except for 2 unfortunate bad breaks...LIVE "middle shot" BET: Charlie Browns +4.5 -145
