1-1 - 2 Units

Two night ago we had the Suns and watched them self destruct in the 4th for a heartbreaking loss. Tonight we will roll with the Sixers.

Here is what i am thinking.

I read some quotes this week and i cant quote them verbatim but it was Pierce talking about win streaks and how they aren't important because the big picture means more and staying healthy takes precedent. Well Boston isnt healthy. They have a short bench and Rondo is banged up. Philly on the other hand for the first time in years (wince Brand came anyway) is healthy and this game looks to be one of the bigger games for the Sixers since Brand came over. Sure, the Sixers are 7-14 but they have covered six straight meaning they have exceeded expectations. They have played great defense over this span allowing less the 90 per game and have averaged less then 10 turnovers as well. Philly has the ability to score the basketball. They have a good bench and will give the Celtics a war tonight. The Celtics have won eight straight. But that streak comes to an end tonight.

Well said.  I tend to agree that this game means much more to the Sixers.
