Glad somebody is talking about the 3PM desparity but here are the actual numbers: LAC: 1/14 (7%)    SAS:11/23 (48%)

San Antonio has not shot the 3 well in this series so far. Last game was a huge adjustment by the law of averages and as it has been said time and time again, SAS barely won and probably should not have won.

Clips +6 and ML for me. Good Luck

What you guys that are on the clippers need to realize is that all this woulda coulda shoulda stuff doesn't mean anything the bottom line is when the game gets tight the Spurs make the smart plays and the clippers fold.

Yes, yes. Let's just throw shi* at the wall and see what team sticks. That's the way to cap! Screw write-ups! I mean, who wants to explain their thinking about capping or anything else!

But wow, did that 25K fine for Doc do wonders for him. 3 fouls each on Duncan and Parker, at the half! Took them out of the game and out of their rhythm. Whistles all over the place. Even three second violations on the Spurs which are rarely, if ever called! Refs gave it all back to the clips tonight with a very liberal whistle as expected.

And a weak Clippers bench got even weaker with Davis going down, someone who gives crucial rest time to Blake.

But I gotta say this, it's debatable whether Davis or Rivers is the worst player on the court. Davis is absolutely unbearable to watch.

Can't pass, falls down all over the place, unwarranted fouls, overweight, sweaty, and out of control almost all the time (He makes Oliver Miller look like Lou Ferrigno from his Hulk glory days). I can't take him anymore. But what can ya do? There's nothing on the bench outside of Crawford so he has to play. The Clippers will eventually get bit in the a** as we all know for their lack of bench but they live on for one night more. But the first guy I'd replace is Davis in the offseason because the coach's son isn't going anywhere.

    The debate was fun BB.

    Dreamkill- appreciate it.

Scal/BB i've under estimated the clippers big time.....

But one thing we should all learn...... nothing is ever what it looks like. Case in point with the Bulls tonight.

I have the Spurs to win the series. Clearly i've under estimated the match ups and strides the clippers made to improve from last season. However.... one thing we can all probably agree on is the sense of urgency and desperation could not be replicated on the Spurs side as it was with the Clippers. The Spurs always have tomorrow to look at if they lose where as the Clippers are done if they lose.....

I'm gonna have to ride out my series bet. It should go down to the wire in game 7.... they'll both lay everything on the line. I don't really give a crap what POP had to say post game... thats not gonna change anything or motivate the spurs. If the clippers were that bad they would have lost today.... but they didn't.

Part of me wants the Clipps to win the series..... I feel very confident that they will completly destroy the rockets in the next round and I'd be willing to lay a good amount on the series line for Clippers to win that match up. Rockets would give the Spurs some trouble.

ps - Davis is a feckin hot mess. He's more useful at home with his out of control demeanor and theatrics to get the home crowd involved in the game...... and their  short bus riding owner too..... Davis and Bahlmer hav a lot in common now that i think about it.

Bottom line. Scalabrine and beginner boy are vastly overrated cappers who like to hear themselves talk. They love the paragraphs and paragraphs of their own reasoning, but their reasoning is always off.

That or they work for the books.

Of course you can ride out your series bet Gene. The Clips have proven they can take this series to 7 games. That's it!  This game proved what you said: that the Clips had the do or die attitude tonight (with ref assistance) and the Spurs didn't. That's all. Game 7, both teams will be playing do or die...big difference.

But look at the bench production if you are worried: Game 5 Spurs - 48 pts. Clips -17. Game 6 Spurs - 48 pts Clips 15. It's so incredibly glaring it's getting laughable.

Blake is dry heaving on the sideline for even 2 minutes rest at the end of the third quarter. Now Davis is injured (and when he's out there, good lord)? Who gets extended minutes now for Blake? Hawes?? You trust him?

There was a sequence at the beginning of the 4th where the Spurs were making a small run and Blake was on the bench, and the Clips were pulling some ref arguing before subbing in Blake. The crowd booed furiously, likely understanding it was to get Blake additional rest (not like 2:30 minutes and 1 minute to start the 4th with a commercial break is a lot) because he was so winded.

The bench is absolutely brutal. Nothing more needs to be said. Starters can't win every single big playoff game for you. I was interested in this game only really. Game 7 is completely different (and the refs will be too). I'll just enjoy the seventh game and then the fight.

The Spurs made me retire once this season, when they blew a 10 point lead to the Cavs at home, with 2 minutes to play and they pushed me to the brink of retirement last night. Against the Cavs, Pop refused to foul Irving at the end of the game and put him on the foul line even though he was hitting every shot. He just refused, out of sheer stubbornness. Then last night, with his team up by 10 in the 2nd and the Clippers looking like they were on the ropes he goes to the hack-a-Jordan.

I'm sorry, but how do you cap a team with a coach that neuters them in the middle of a home game when they are up by 10 (with the crowd going crazy) by fouling a player because of statistical probability, and then calls them "soft" after they lose:

    https://espn.go.com/blog/nba/post/_/id/2342/soft-effort-turns-into-wasted-chance-for-spurs

I have no idea what that crater face was thinking last night but he pulled the same crap in game 2 (with his team up by 8 with about 5 minutes to play, and playing beautiful, confident basketball) and it almost cost them there as well. This guy is playing head-games with his own team (and messing with their psyche and confidence, and none of his assistants, or even reporters, have the balls tell him or question him). I mean, nothing says we are hardcore or bad-a s s (i.e.,not soft) like fouling the other teams worst free throw shooter when you are up by 10 at home in an elimination game. He single handedly killed his team's momentum, took the fans out of the game, got his own players (Duncan and Parker) in foul trouble, gave rest to the Clippers starters, by that idiotic tactic. Yes, the Clippers may have won anyway if he had not resorted to that stupid strategy, but we will never know. And for that, I hope they lose and lose BIG.

This series might break the record for the most amount of road victories.  Every game has been nuts except for game 1 and 3.
