Aren't we the beneficiaries of that debacle 83pt Bam game that has been dissected ever since? Nobody played any defense in that last Wiz/Heat match-up to get Adebayo to pass Kobe so the game ended 279pts. Then we get Mia at home 2 nights ago giving up the farm to Celtics in a game that had 271pts. Wash meanwhile was at home same night and gave up 153pts to Philly in a game that had 284pts. All signs point to an easy over today. I ain't buying it.

The Spurs/Nuggets has huge seeding implications. With Luka gone, Denver can certainly grab 3 seed if they push. That would most likely put them against 6 seed Wolves. Denver won that season series 3-1. If they won that 3/6 then they'd most likely face Spurs. If Denver stays in 4th, they'd most likely meet Hou, who they won the reg season series 3-1, and then face OKC. No idea what to do with this game. It seems like the easiest path in the West is IF Lakers stay in 3 seed somehow then 2 seed would be the bomb as you'd possibly face Suns then maybe Lakers, man that's a smooth path to the Finals.

Detroit plays 4 of their last 5 on the road. They are comfortably in 1 seed and cannot be caught, they even have a gimmie vs Bucks at home this week to remove any doubt. They've owned Philly in this season series going 3-0 thus far. If I'm GM of Detroit, I rest my guys coming down the stretch and by doing so let Philly get a win here today and chop it up in the heated 5-8 battle in the East. Philly meanwhile needs Embiid and George to put on their big boy pants and play in these tail end of b2bs especially against #1 seed that has punked you three times now you get them at home in front of the home fans, suit up and get the momentum fools. 117-103 Philly

Looking at the last 2 meetings between the Nuggets and the Spurs, first was won by spurs and then the 2nd one by the nuggets (after coming back from being down 20). Both of those meetings went to the last possession and wemby was not playing in both of them, is there really any world where the Joker & Murray can hold on vs spurs pace now that Wemby is avaliable? It feels like spurs will control this game since the very first minutes.

And no embid. Man, this league needs some changes with all the games off these stars take throughout the season. What a shiat product

Yeah, hard to tell what's going on at any given time.

DET could easily be punting this game and not caring, meanwhile Embiid is out so a lot ppl would be like "oh, you gotta take DET then" and then PHI somehow easily wins straight up as an underdog.

It's a shitshow and best guess at times to know if teams actually care to try or not.

I could never stomach betting on unders in the NBA. Everybody plays way too fast and refs call fouls too much.
