What's up fellas, sorry for the tardiness. Flawless victory on Monday going 4-0 racking up 14 units. Thanks a lot to those of you who sent their congratulations, especially the two posters who purposely bumped the winning thread, know who you are and appreciate it. Shallow slate today, only liking one. Good luck gents. Peace - - - MAK
DALLAS MAVERICKS - 6.0 (-110) - - - The zone defense and absence of Eric Gordon. That is all this game comes down to. Do people not realize the productivity of Eric Gordon? He is putting up all star type numbers. In his last 10 he is one of the best two-guards in the game. 25 a game, almost 5 assists....where exactly is this production going to come from tonight? Randy Foye? Foye coming off a horrible game shooting awful from everywhere. He will not have the confidence nor the height to contend with Stevenson. With the absence of Eric you may even see the most overrated player in the NBA make an appearance off the bench. Blake is not the reason the Clipps are winning now, it is because Butler is not playing...well obviously I am joking but if Butler plays look for about 3-4 wasted possessions. Jordan has been a beast and should fight in the post all game with Tyson and Haywood. The fact is Blake cannot be contained, he cannot be stopped. But if there is any chance to negate his offensive production around the rim, it is the zone defense. This mitigates his isolation strength in the post, he will not only have to go against one big man, but the 2-3 zone means he will have to face 3 forwards all game long. Who is he going to pass out to on double teams? Clipps love taking the three, #10 in the NBA in attempts and makes but #26 in the league in percentage, the outside advantage will be absent for the Clipps against the best zone defense in the association. Dirk is soft right now, but the best defensive player in the NBA Mr.T will be there under the rim. All Dallas needs to do is try and offset the offensive production of Baron and Blake, if they do that, the Mavs win by 10+. However, if Terry and Marion cannot contribute off the bench, Clips could cover. Without Eric Gordon, I just do not see the Clipps winning this game outright. ML is way too high, I'll lay the points.

As usual a perfect play. Great stuff Mak. Keep it going. This was the one game I was looking at. Glad I saw this late. Confirmed my play. I'll look out for your plays tomorrow with a big Wednesday card ahead!

Eric Gordon is the key to that Clipper team... for all the love that Griffin is getting (and rightfully so), its Eric Gordon that drives the team's engine every night. He is a huge, huge loss.

they certainly missed him in the 3rd quarter when the game began to slip away, but lets not forget that this clippers team hasn't really found a road identity...
